Apartments in Long Beach

"I have to tell you first, I am a very positive person that looks for the good points in every situation, and I am generally understanding if things don’t go well. That said, I honestly don’t think this hotel should be listed on Expedia. I paid $325 for this room that was rated 8.6 or “excellent” and it was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Upon arrival I couldn’t even get in to the property. After waiting and knocking a security guard who was watching shows on a computer let me in. Eventually the desk clerk came around and was swearing once she saw the line of people who had gathered. We checked in, got no information about the property or breakfast hours. The room was filthy. Floors -both carpets and tiles - were stained and sticky, bed coverlets and curtains had stains on them (sheets were clean) walls and doors were grimy dirty and sticky. We were so tired after a ten hour drive and checking in at 12:30am that we didn’t have a chance to go somewhere else. Beds had broken old squeaky mattresses -painful to sleep in and sheets were thin like tissue. Shampoo and shower gels were poor quality. I couldn’t tell you about the breakfast because I forgot it was included and wasn’t told about it on check in. I’m so annoyed I spent that money. It was worth maybe $59.99. Do not not matter how desperate you are stay here."

"The room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Really wanted to use the hot tub and it was out of order. Outside hotel smelled like weed. Elevator door closes very quick and it was very noisy. "

"The location was calm and the scenery was lovely. It felt like a vintage/cozy woodland stay. We adored the decorations and overall vibe to the place. Next time will be upgrading to the whirlpool rooms for extra comfort! Highly recommend (:"

"Our stay was good overall. The rooms were a little musty smelling, couldn’t figure out why. Everything was clean though, no other complaints."

"Smoke detector disabled, spider webs covering elevator walls, no pool or hot tub, cigarette burns on counters. Charging outrageous price for bare minimum room. Woke up to McDonald's garbage in parking lot. Receptionist very friendly. One vending machine in lobby, no available working ice machine on floor."
