Beautiful home, centrally located. Plenty of space for our family of 5, which includes 3 teens. Very responsive house managers who were happy to help. Highly recommend!
Amazing property, and an incredibly attentive host
Normally you can find or think of one thing that didn't quite meet your expectations when you stay somewhere, I can honestly say that this was not the case.
Everything from how the space flowed, to how comfortable the beds and sofas were, just blended into the relaxed atmosphere that the host has managed to weave it the home.
I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay by the River, Covent garden or even Soho.
I cant recommend it enough
My Family consider the property a highlight of our trip to London.
Well located near Covent Garden, Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square.
The kids loved their rooms and were charmed by the themes and amenities. The Master bedroom and bath was lovely.
Nathan was helpful and responsive. Something to note is that the stairs are quite steep and narrow, if you have mobility issues you should be aware.
Highly recommend and would stay again
My family have just returned from spending Christmas in this lovely home. Nathan was a wonderful host and for us the location couldn’t have been better. Steps away from 2 train stations and the Thames. Walking distance to so many of the sights. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of interesting treasures on every floor. My only caution would be to make note that the house is spread over 5 floors, this could be a challenge for some or a good way to work off all the extra holiday calories!
The house was spectacular! It was well-appointed with everything you would need. It was beautifully decorated yet comfortable. I appreciated that the master had plenty of space to unpack and settle in. The bathrooms and showers were great. The location was also very convenient. Close to the tube and plenty within walking distance. The only issue one might have is with all the stairs. It’s essentially 5 floors. It was ok for our family but potentially tricky for some. Nathan was wonderful. He was very responsive and welcoming. We had a wonderful week.
This house was the highlight of our stay in London!
This property is a true gem. Furnished with a mixture of beautiful antiques, original art, and modern conveniences, it's quintessentially "London." The pictures are beautiful, but the real thing is even better! Our family of five loved coming home after a day of sightseeing to relax and recharge here.
The location is also great. It's an easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, Piccadilly, the West End, and the London Eye, to name a few. There are also two tube stops just steps away from the front door. A gate at the end of the street provides access to a park and scenic walks along the Victoria Embankment.
We visited in December, and the house was even decorated for the holidays! I can't recommend it, and the host, enough.
In a few words the stay just couldn't have been better! Communication with the owner was excellent, the property was exactly as described. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, or stay again if I get the chance.
The first great thing was that we were able to check in early which is a game changer when arriving from an overnight flight! Communication with Nathan, the host was excellent. The location was great and very convenient. Shopping, theater, restaurants only a block or two away. The apartment was lovely. Traditionally decorated but with modern conveniences. There are 5 levels so be prepared to climb stairs. The "Harry Potter Room" was adorable! We would definitely stay here again!
I cannot say enough good things about this property! Total A+! If you have young children, the stairs might be overwhelming but it was perfect for my husband, myself and three daughters (ages 17-20). There is a Harry Potter themed bedroom with bunk beds that my 20 year old actually fought with my twins to share! The kitchen is top-of-the-line everything and the courtyard off of the kitchen is quaint and ideal for an evening at home. But the house is close to so many amazing restaurants and theaters, too. Nathan, the owner, was unbelievably accommodating when we had an emergency with a different vrbo. We will forever be grateful to him!
Being able to stay in this unit was truly a highlight of our trip. The apartment is in an excellent location just south of Covent Garden with easy access to most of the main attractions in London. It is beautifully decorated and maintained. The attention to detail is stunning. There is also a large library on the first floor containing hundreds of books of all different types. There are a total of five stories connected by a winding circular staircase, which may be challenging for the elderly or those with physical limitations. The central heat was not working when we arrived but the host provided us with space heaters until the problem was fixed. There is a gorgeous patio behind the kitchen on the lowest floor with a beautiful water feature. Nathan and the housekeeper were super attentive and make sure we were comfortable. I would certainly return.
Our family of five, including three teenagers, stayed at this property recently. The location was excellent if you want to be in the centre of the west end action. Easy access to Embankment and Charing Cross stations made travel a breeze; and proximity to Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus was convenient for walking to shows and restaurants. The property itself offered plenty of space for sleeping, relaxing and eating meals ‘at home’ (there is a grocery store nearby). There are five floors to the property with the kitchen in the basement (with plenty of light and an outdoor patio) and the master bedroom on the third floor. As long as you’re able to walk stairs you won’t find it a significant burden, especially for what you get in living space. The beds on the fourth floor fit our children but would be tight if taller than 6 feet. The property was very clean with plenty of towels and a washer and dryer to do laundry. They had fans in the bedrooms and one portable air conditioner - it was hot when we visited and those were essential to our comfort (in fact we were still quite warm, perhaps in part because two heaters seemed to be on regularly without a means to turn them off). Nathan and Xanthippi were very warm and welcoming and they were able to accommodate an early check in after an overnight flight - a very welcome arrangement. We highly recommend this property and the owner / house keeper - they lived up to their claims!
