Absolutely lovely room with amazing bath and massive bed! The staff were lovely and the pub was a great atmosphere.

The hotel is a quaint step back in time with beautifully decorated rooms, immaculately clean and very comfortable accomodation. Surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel is above a bar/restaurant. The hotel has a distinctively separate feel, making it both secure, comfortable and convenient. Attempted dinner in the restaurant but despite the server’s best attempts, all options selected on the menu were unavailable and drinks were forgotten. Ordering via the app proved less than satisfactory and resulted in inconvenient refunding etc.

I had a delightful stay at this property. The hotel has been renovated to a very high standard in a modern Victorian style. The service was five star and the very manicured rooms were lovely. Will come back

This was a brilliant looking property - wit the pub attached - we were attending a party near clapham junction - so was very conveniently situated. The rooms were a good size - really nice bathroom. I love the fact that its dog friendly and next time we will come with our dog. Staff were really friendly - it is worth including the breakfast its in the pub which is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts set up is great. We found it easy to walk up to the bus stop and catch a bus to Clapham junction and then everything was pretty easy to reach from there.

Absolutely adored this hotel! Beautiful decor, full clean each day, gorgeous toiletries. They had everything we needed: iron, kettle, tea selection, coffee machine, bottle of water. The bathroom was lovely, the shower pressure was good. The bed was really comfy, the room was spacious and there was good storage space too. A lovely dressing table to do makeup at too. Genuinely cannot fault this hotel at all and I have already recommended it to my family and friends! The food in the pub was lovely too!

Okay but could have been great.
Place was really clean and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Guy at check in was a bit unhelpful asked for the card that had made booking with but that card had changed from visa to mastercard by the bank. Showed my replacement card on my phone and was told not good enough as I might have stolen the phone! How a phone is any more stealable than a card I'm not sure but at any rate I'd already told the guy the name on the booking- that would have been some guess! Was then told I couldn't pay using apple pay. Feel like if this is correct then that info could have been a bit better explained at the time of booking. Luckily mate had a card but left me in a bit of an awkward position. other than that the place is nice. Clean, well presented, my room on a main rd and so not able to open window and got very hot in the night. But reasonable price for what it was. Pub downstairs was nice. Close to tube station. Bar staff very friendly.
