The hotel staff were very in active and really could not careless , The coffee machine was never working properly food trays always empty and it seemed a effort to replenish them for a complete breakfast the towel changed over no hand towels provided The shower leaked and kept us up all night

the location is great and the staff is very friendly. I ordered a room with double bad and what I got was a make believe double bad which was made by connecting 2 smal bads and cober them with a big double bad sheets.

Great location but unfortunately the room upon arrival smelt of smoke and there was evidence of ash in the toilets. Sadly, this smell remained for the duration of the stay. We were given complimentary breakfast to make up for this but for the price you expect the room to be perfect.

Wonderful friendly staff
Really friendly staff. We had a marvellous upgrade to a suite but the room was tired and not as one would expect for the cost that that room would be. We left our thoughts with reception and await the hotel managers response. Great location and could be a real jewel.

Not value for the price
The room we had, while quite large , was “tired “ and in need of some refurb eg sides of bed “frayed”. The sheets were not what we would expect for the price. Room not well serviced ie tea/coffee not replaced and no robes. When we asked for these they failed to arrive - had to ask twice. Also after being given a late check out by one hour, the room key was not adjusted so didn’t work! So all up, not value for money

Anniversary stay - unforgettable and amazing
We decided to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary here. The location was idea plus we could make use of the spa facilities and enjoy an afternoon tea to add the extra special touch to our stay. This hotel is, truly, nothing short of amazing. Whether this be in relation to the elegant decor throughout, the amazing and friendly staff, or the delicious food and drink offerings, this hotel has it all. Upon arrival we were personally greeted by the very kind doormen and very swiftly taken through the check-in procedure, all with a friendly and helpful touch. We were very kindly upgraded to the 'wow suite' at check-in, which was massively appreciated! Inside our room, iced prosecco and cake were waiting for us and a handwritten note from Edward - which we thought was such a brilliant and lovely touch - thank you Edward. Our room was huge and featured an amazing four-poster-bed with star night lights and a decor which I found very classy and chic. Both bathrooms were stunning and very clean. We enjoyed our stay so much we are already planning to celebrate our birthdays here, our expectations were high when booking but were well and truly exceeded during our stay. We just couldn't think of anywhere else to stay!

It was OK but we had to ask 3 times for the mini bar fridge to be turned on & for bath robes which come as standard. Each time we were told someone would come up to the room straight away. They never did. So fridge never worked & no robes for the entire stay. Also the “no show” fee was charged after the first night (one nights stay). Apparently the receptionist hadn’t stopped this when I paid in full on arrival. This was soon sorted & reversed but just another inconvenience.

I had a very disappointing stay my wife was roped her jewelry from her suitcase and couldn’t find the thief who must be from the housekeeping or other staff from the hotel and no body could return the jewelry back even after informing the police how come it is a 5 star hotel that burglars among the staff .next time i should put a hidden camera in my hotel room and change my jop to a private investigator saddly.
