The Mayfair House has all the comforts of home. Full kitchen with coffeemaker, a gym and attentive staff. The location also couldn't be better with an awesome pub right next door.

The staff at this property were kind helpful and accommodating. The apartment was spacious with bedrooms and bathrooms for 5 adults. It was very clean with comfortable beds. Location is perfect for walking to many sights. The kitchen was helpful for coffee and warming foods. We were there 3 nights and found it to be a very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended!

Our apartment was perfect! The entrance to hotel wonderful… the staff kind and considerate and helpful! The hallways and stairs/elevators were needing care. Wonderful spot for dining and short walk to many shops and clothing stores. A mall like area not far… Big Ben clock only a 20 min walk… laundry, dishwasher, stove, mic and all dishes in apt! Wonderful stay. Highly recommend

Good value space in great location
We came to celebrate my wife's birthday and stayed 2 nights. We have stayed here before. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. It is self-catering but there is a small corner shop straight across the street and a Tesco very close nearby. It is very convenient for Bond Street and Picadilly. Oxford street is easily walkable. Nice bedroom, living room. Separate bathroom. Many restaurants and small shops in Shepherd market just outside the door.

For some reason Black cab drivers don’t want to drop you off in front of the property as it’s a dead end. Uber also needs longer to get here.

The location was very safe and convenient, but the property itself and the particular apartment we stayed in were lacking in comfort, amenities, and cleanliness. We were disappointed when reality did not match up to photographs we saw online because we were expecting things to be more updated. For example, the carpet had not been changed in a long time, the sofa was saggy and worn, the dishes were stained and old, and the bathroom had mold/mildew on the crown molding. Maybe this is just what you get in London for the price. The staff, however, was welcoming, helpful, and immediately responsive. If you don't mind things being a bit outdated and you want to be in this area of London, this property will work for you.

Thr location is wonderful near shops and restaurants, beautiful safe area. The hotel apartment is spacious, but the bed room was small with a big fresh bed. The living area was tattered and not so clean. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. The most disappointing thing is that they claimed to have daily cleaning unfortunately ive been told only once a week. The ladies on the reception dareen and samieha were super helpful and nice. In general over reated apartments not 5* for sure.

Amazing Location & Service!!!
The room was quality - lots of space, beautiful interior decor, and a nice kitchen. Service was amazing as well - there was a lady at the reception desk (I believe her name was Derin). Extremely professional and she’d been there to help us with any issues, a great asset to the Mayfair House team. I had no problems at all, and would definitely stay here again! I booked after seeing the reviews, and I understand why they are so highly rated - the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s quite rare to find a place that’s “better in person”. Did I mention how beautiful the location was? :) Full marks from me!

Wonderful stay at the Mayfair House. I was pleasantly surprised all around: good WiFi that keeps you logged in, clean apartment, daily cleaning, coffee & tea in the room, comfortable, and not noisy (a bit of street noise, but not bothersome at all). Highly recommend

The location is perfect -within walking distance to everything we wanted to do in London. The apartments are bright and modern. There are cozy neighbourhood restaurants to choose from and a lovely feeling of neighbourhood which is welcoming at the end of a day of sightseeing and visiting galleries. It is peaceful here -Just a block away from the bustle of Piccadilly Street. This was our second stay here. We would definitely stay here again. Nice welcome from the staff who remembered us.

I liked the apartment which gave some space to my teen grandson, the apt was right on the street and smokers tended to hang below our window an talk for all hours. There were no bar on the bathtub to get in and out for a shower and no non-skip rug on the marble floor in bathroom. No cotton balls and a boldly posted sign that said do not use towels for cleaning off makeup! .Since there were no Kleenex I had to use toilet paper to remove my makeup or risk a fine using the washcloths. The hairdryer was on the wall with the wattage for drying a catterpiller’s hair. There was no thermostat and it took a staff member to use a flashlight and wrench to adjust it. thus I froze one night and melted the next!

The location was fabulous and we loved the caring and attentive staffs the TV did not seem to have CNN and other “regular”stations. But a really great place overall!

BE AWARE TOURIST TRAP When we arrived they told us that they could not accept us because only one child was accepted in the room (a one room with sofa bed in living area room) Expedia's description said differently and let to think we could all fit. not sure if the error was Expedia or the hotel but they sent us to another hotel, (he made us sign we accepted the change and was very misleading making us think the other hotel was better) we were sent to-not a hotel, but serviced apartments, in kensington another area, which we did not care about. and on top of that when we got to the one they said, the hotel manager came out and sent us to another because he was full and he did not know why they sent us there. Lastly (after 2 days of traveling with small children) we arrived to a serviced apartment place very lacking and nothing compared to what we had booked. being so tired and with small children we decided to sleep there and there my husband was so mad he did not want to move again. i do hope Expedia refunds me for this or the hotel. TERRIBLE experience, ended up staying in a cheap place (nice bell guy though) but funny smell on the apartment, towels smelled funny as well (kids said they smell like popcorn)

Noisy & Hot!
Let’s start with the positive- location, location, location! Close to lots of good cafes and restaurants, plus the green line less than 2 blocks away. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but that’s where it ends. Flat on floor 2 with window facing Shepherd St. Very steamy inside and both A/C units did nothing to cool the place down so we suffered through it the entire visit. We tried keeping the windows open at night, but there was too much noise from drunk people and taxi drivers in the street. Three pubs are on this street and people congregate outside in the street to smoke and drink. Very, very, noisy to all hours of the night. If this wasn’t enough, two days into our stay road crews began work on the street just outside front of building at 8am with jackhammers. We were exhausted from the heat and lack of sleep. If you decide to book here, make sure you are on a higher floor where windows do NOT face street AND confirm your A/C units work before unpacking your bags. Ask for another room if it’s too hot.

Amazing stay in London. Location was superb
Excellent in every way. The apartment was perfect, very spacious, comfortable beds, fantastic location. My only issue was that they should remind you that the coffee and tea service is just a starter pack and you need to purchase your own from the corner store. The front desk staff were not the most welcoming to begin with and when we asked if we Could purchase a bag of the coffee, we were very rudely pointed to the shop Down the street. All in all I will definitely stay here on all future trips to London.

The place was not what was on the pictures on hotel.com. It was a total misrepresentation. The location was great. The place was clean, but it smell like cigarettes. I was going to request a different room, but was too exhausted to deal with it
