I chose this hotel because I was looking for somewhere inexpensive for an overnight stay for work between attending two courses. I was pretty much going to get there, catch up on emails, sleep then go. The hotel describes itself as a basic, budget hotel and that is what it is. It looks like what it is. I chose this one because I had equipment with me and wanted on site parking - not always easy in London. The area is full of blocks of flats and is certainly not an affluent area. The parking was outside the front of the hotel so I was slightly worried about the car. The pub on the ground floor is clearly a favourite with locals who seems to know each other. A friendly and slightly bawdy atmosphere. Nice to get a reasonably priced drink to take up to my room. The staff were really friendly and the room was surprisingly large, the bed was comfortable though the quilt was rather thin and flat with an old looking cover. There were charging sockets by the bed - a good bonus for me. The Wifi refused to connect for more than 5 secs but I used my hotspot to do what I needed to do work wise. The en suite was small but clean and functional and the shower was nice and hot with choice of overhead or removable already head. There was a kitchen down the hall with a dryer, toaster etc. £66 for a night in London with parking. I could hear some noise from the pub downstairs but once it had closed it was surprisingly quiet.
Basic, but clean and friendly. I will probably stay there again
