The hotel is very poor at communication
I didn’t actually get to stay due to covid. Have attempted to contact the hotel On numerous occasions, over the last 2 months, as have the team at Hotels.com - with no response. All I want to do is shift the booking or get a refund to rebook due to the extraordinary Covid events that led to the concert I was attending being rescheduled to next year. How hard can that be !!

No en suite??
All the rooms in this hotel do not have a shower and toilet in the room. They are down the corridor which something I have not experienced for many years and hope never to do again. The staff are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the location was great for us. Breakfast was poor but not so important to me.

Staff very pleasant. Room clean and tidy. Not suitable for disabled people unless stated and they would probably put you on the ground floor, as there are no lifts.. breakfast was continental only with tea coffee and herbal teas..

We found the location really good. Local car park looked less than desirable but didnt have any issues. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was okay with no noise form outside but corridor was and door creaked with other doors shutting. Bed was sqeaky on one side only. Bathroom had no heat and could do with some TLC. Breakfast was somewhat poor but didnt bother us. We may stay here again for location alone.

Overall stay was not bad, but the way your website is written was a little misleading. Especially for people from America it say shared bathroom so we are thinking among the three of us since we choose a triple room. once we got into another room there was no phone. What if there is a emergency. Also the shower soaked the entire floor

Shared bathrooms for pensioners is not acceptable. Rooms far too hot despite switching radiator off. Very noisy all through the night so didn’t sleep. Left after one night, would only recommend for students.

This hotel is fantastic. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Hotel is large and spotlessly clean. Most importantly, the staff were so kind and helpful and thoughtful while I stayed here with my two young daughters. Massimmo was the loveliest man and made us feel very welcome. Don’t do it if you don’t have too
Stains on the carpet .Had a very dingy feel to the space. No thermostat just dials on the radiator room very slow to heat up. WC/Restroom was out side the room down the hall somewhere and showers were also outside of room in another location of the floor. I assumed that since it was going to be a nice place because it was in the canary wharf area . If I had known about the moxy in Stratford I would have stayed there for the same money excellent amenities Iikea Westfield mal next door. Tons of restaurants and stores to choose from . Modern feel and vibe . Very hip with wc/restrooms inside your room . Snacks complimentary down stairs by reception 24/7

great hotel for quick stop over. friendly staff. Beds are confortable, modern decor. Carpets in rooms could be changed as they are quite stained, maybe laminate flooring be a cleaner option. Communal bathrooms are nice and clean. Restaurant area modern, nice decor. Breakfast consist of fruit, toast and coffee/tea/juice, cereal, porridge, would be nice to have some ham and cheese. Close to London city center, 15min on a train. Train station 5/10min walk away.

Plenty of information by my I pad so you knew the situation arrived at 4 pm to be met by a lovely friendly lady who showed up to our studio. Informed us of the front door code and our room code. The room was modern and up to date really clean. Everything we need including a kitchen which we didn’t expect. Would definitely stay there again.

I liked the location of the hotel! It was 5 minutes away (in a walking distance) from Canada Square and the station. The Black Wall Station (which is the station nearby) will take you directly to the London Bridge and the Tower of London (a ten minute train trip for only £4.80!). The hotel was nice, very friendly staff!!

This lodge was excellent for a business traveler who needed to be near the businesses in canary wharf and ExCeL London. The staff was incredible - friendly and helpful. The location is near two very accessible underground stations should you want to head into the city. There aren’t many amenities nor is it overly fancy, but it is just right for relaxing after a long day in town. Would recommend any traveler to consider a stay here

Nothing too much trouble!
First time staying here, super friendly staff, nothing seemed too much trouble. Comfy beds and clean facilities. Had a shared bathroom and the robes and slippers were a thoughtful touch. All the basics there for breakfast, although the fancy coffee machine was on, only instant coffee was freely available.

Misleading website pictures Booked 2 deluxe rooms...mine didn’t even have a window and stank of moth balls Changed to 3rd floor room. Bricked mirror in bathroom in 3 places ...bit of gaffer tape on one break This is a youth hostel at expensive price! Communal bathrooms on first floor Breakfast ...very cheap ingredients..long life yogurts and juice with so much sugar in them Absolute disgrace!

Good staff, ultra hot room
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and allowed my bike to be stored at the hotel which was fantastic. However we were placed on the third floor, a strange room layout with very little space in the room and my son had to sleep on an air bed, the bathroom was nearly the size of the room with a whirlpool bath, however the bath was really noisy so we didn't want to use it and the shower was mostly blocked with limescale. The hardest thing was the temperature, a portable air conditioner was supplied but was overloaded and kept tripping out the host was gaffa taped so leaked hot air back into the room, it was unbearably hot and we all didn't get much keep. The next morning the breakfast was good and the host did this early for the london cyclists which was good.

In the heart of the East End
This is a little gem - right in the heart of the east end. It doesn’t look much, the surrounding area is not particularly good, but the hotel is great value. The number 15 bus stops virtually outside the door & runs right across London taking in The Tower, Pudding Lane monument, St Paul’s, Fleet Street & The Royal Courts of Justice! The staff are helpful, the rooms & public places clean, the water hot & the tv works! My only disappointment was that I didn’t notice the economy rooms had shared facilities. Never crossed my mind - we were upgraded but it was £20 extra

Very good stay
I didn’t realise that I had booked a room with a shared bathroom but it didn’t matter. It was extremely clean and well looked after. Every single staff member was super friendly and helpful. I wish I had taken their names to mention them here. The prize was very reasonable and the breakfast great. The area isn’t amazing but very convenient for The 02. Thanks

we stayed for 1 night only and was very happy with everything ! the staff were very polite and helpful. I upgraded our room beforehand and paid the outstanding amount upon arrival. Our room and bathroom was very clean. The only thing was that it was hot as the main window could not be opened (we were situated on the ground floor) but there was a freestanding fan for our use. The breakfast on offer was well presented there was a small selection of continental and cooked foods on offer. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would stay again.

Friendly and welcoming. Lovely hotel.
Very pleasant stay, staff were lovely & very helpful. Hotel is very tastefully done. Short walk to Canary Wharf. Would stay here again.
