Staying on the canal was cool
Great apartment. We were greeted by our hostess and she showed us around the apartment. Seeing the house boats on the canal was interesting. One morning a group of kayakers were playing some game on the canal, it was fun to watch. We would stay here again.

Very nice apartment just like on the pictures. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Something to suggest would be that both keys should have the magnet to enter the building.

Great space and easy walk to transit!

The apartment needs an update. The sofa very uncomfortable. Damaged swivel chair removed replaced with a plastic chair. The panoramic window needs blinds (there had been blinds at some point) cracked tile in the bathroom, toilet roll holders hanging off or not there at all. Main bedroom mattress needs replacing as do the carpets. The owner has been contacted the the above.

The flat was in a nice location. The kitchen had extremely nice appliances. The one thing I would suggest would be a small booklet on how to use a few of the appliances. The location is easy to get around from both the bus and ferry are near by. Also there is a nice grocery store just up the toepath.

Excellent property
From booking on, communication was fab. Svelana met us when we arrived, and the property was brilliant. It had everything we could possibly want, and was really easy to get to and find. It was about 6/7 mins walk to west ferry station, so a great place to get to anywhere from. The property was in a safe feeing neighbourhood and the car park was convenient and secure. We loved the balcony, and spent a fair bit of time there, as we had lovely weather, but even if it had been rainy, it would have been a great addition! We will absolutely be looking to see if this property is available when we next visit London! Thank you!

Beautiful apartment but a little far out of the city centre
We went with my parents, who are in their late 70's, to this apartment. The apartment is beautiful with some interesting pieces of art on the walls, they were topics of conversation! The view of the canal is a plus. It was very clean and well maintained with everything you could possibly need to ensure a comfortable stay. The only thing that we thought could improve it, was to have bigger beds that weren't so low to the floor. My partner is 6 foot 2 and took up most of the bed! My parents had difficulty getting up from the low bed, especially my dad who has poor mobility. The bathrooms and en suite were spotless and modern. There were plenty of towels and bed linen. Also a hairdryer. Very well stocked. Unfortunately the apartment was a little further out from the city centre than we thought but this was our fault not the owner's. He was perfectly accessible via email for any queries and ensured we had all the details we needed to get to the apartment from Paddington as well as having a person to meet us and to contact during our stay. Svetlana was very helpful on arrival showing us everything and explaining certain things in the apartment as well as telling what we needed to do on departure. On the whole, it was a lovely comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Apt. In nice area outside central London. Public transportation near bye moderate walk. Worst sleeping accommodations. The 2 bedrooms have the most uncomfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Mattresses very low to floor. Good only for children or midgets. Bathrooms adequate. Living/dining area small. Modern decor. Large mirrors deceive the openness of the space. Does have nice view of waterfront location & canal ducks, gulls & swans. This apt. NOT for the elderly or handicapped. Three out of four of our group sustained back pain & sleepless nights.

Very nice apartment, they have a awesome driver Tommy that will take you Anywhere you want pick you up at the airport. Once you learn your way around the area you are close to public transportation and some nice restaurants. We enjoyed taking the water taxi To Westminster area and back to canary wharf. It is a little bit of a walk.

Great Stay
A great short term stay. Owner gave us great directions to DLR and bus info to Mile End underground so very easy to get to and from central London. We had flight delay and then train issues when arriving into Lonfon but apt Manager waited for us to arrive (thank you). Taxi driver (Tommy) recommended by owner - AWESOME if there longer would certainly use him for some daytime excursions.. Apt could use new beds but all in all apt had everything needed.

Short Break
Four of us stayed in this flat for four nights, this is the second time we have stayed here and as before everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. There are easy transport links to the city and London Excel. Check in and check out process is easy and uncomplicated. There is a large supermarket nearby and a corner shop even closer so everything is very convenient. Once again John was very welcoming and is quick to get back to you with any queries you may have. Tom the taxi driver was also great, he took us on an impromptu tour of canary wharf after he picked us up following a day out. This flat is a great place to stay, seriously tempted not to review it so we can keep it all to ourselves!

Month Long Vacation
The three of us stayed at John’s apartment for a month. We found the location excellent for travelling around London. A seven minute walk to Westferry DLR and a change at Bank was ideal for accessing tourist sites across London. Couldn’t ask for a better location! We used the local corner shop each day for various items. Waitrose at Canary Wharf was also a regular. My son and husband used Pure Gym also at Canary Wharf. The apartment was well equipped for what we required. John was only a phone call away when needed. We will definitely stay again. Thank you John

this is a really nice and comfortable apartment for 4 people, with 2 bathrooms, 2 double bedrooms and a nice living room as described in the homeaway website. We stayed for the Last Year's Eve and it was warm, clean and nice as the pictures show. The landlord was really helpful and allowed us an early check-in to leave our luggages. The area is very quiet, close to bus stops to Mile End (D6, D7, 277) or to Canary Wharf (D7, 277) where there is a big mall with supermarkets (Waitrose, M&S) and many other shops. There are other shops at 5-10 minute walk if you don't want to take the bus. It's easy to get to central London from Mile End. Definitely a nice place like home to go back after a busy day out in London !

Apartment exceeded all expectations in terms of quality and amenities. Everything was to a very high standard resulting in a great stay. The location near Canary Wharf was very convenient for transportation links although we did find the 40 minute commute to the centre of London a little far (especially in January). This is our fault though as the location is very clear in the description provided.

40mins to centre??? Transport for London website states travel times from the apartment - only 7 minutes Westferry to Bank station (inner city/Centre of London), & +8 minutes to Oxford Circus station. London is HUGE – 9 Zones, the apartment is in Zone 2 central London, the very centre of London (inner city) is Zone 1 (Zone 9 is outer London). The main attractions are in Zone 1 & 2. If you stayed in Zone 1 you would still have to use public transport to see the main attractions, but rental price is higher in Zone 1 & safety & noise can be an issue in Zone 1 The apartment is booked everyday by tourists visiting London to see the attractions. It has over one hundred 5-star reviews because it's a superior apartment for visiting London & because the transport links are great.

Touch of style
From the photos on the website I was expecting the apartment to be excellent and it certainly did not disappoint. So many classy designer touches - fab coffee machine, great pieces of artwork, power showers, everything you need. My only regret is that we were not staying here longer. Easy walk to Westferry station and then to Bank and in centre of London in no time. In fact we walked to London Bridge and The Shard, took us about an hour. Supper in Canary Wharf and then a half hour walk home - no time at all. Great outdoor space, although the weather was a little inclement so say the least it was still really nice to be able to open the doors. Lovely and warm to return to in the evening. Would highly recommend here. Everything was very easy to organise. John sent great instructions for everything and Svetlana was on hand if we had needed her, fortunately everything went like clockwork and we had no need to call her. We used the car park which was ideal as we just parked the car up when we arrived until we left - very handy.

Great flat for London stay
Spent the weekend at this flat for a trip to London. Although a bit further out than we normally stay, we enjoyed being in another part of London we hadn't seen and spent some time visiting Canary Wharf. The flat was comfy, well furnished and quiet, with secure parking at a little extra cost. We were sent very detailed instructions before we arrived and were met by Svetlana, who couldn't do enough for us. DLR was nearby but we found it easier to get an Uber into London which cost around £10. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Important to note: The apartment is central London, but not inner city. Located were Londoners choose to live – so quiet, clean & safe.Train station is 7minutes walk & bus stop is about 150 meteres. You don't need a taxi.

John, thank you so much for welcoming our family to your home. We had a wonderful time in London and truly enjoyed staying at the apartment. Your recommendations/instructions were so clear and helpful. We used the DLR line (less than a 10 minute walk with teenagers) to get to Canary Wharf (Everyman theater is awesome) and into the city for sightseeing galore. The neighborhood is quiet and cozy. The grocery store is less than 5 minutes away and very reasonably priced. We even picked up some under layer clothing. Thank you also for connecting us with Tom! It was wonderful to have a driver arranged from the train station and for one of our early morning tours. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Great base for a London stay
This apartment has everything that you would need for a stay in London, and the proximity to several supermarkets makes self-catering easy. It’s right on Limehouse Cut, which has a great walk (and shortcut) to Limehouse and the Thames Walk. There are a number of transport options, although if you are carrying heavy bags, avoid changing on to the DLR at Bank Station. There are better options! Once that’s dealt with, Bank becomes a quick exit to the CIty, or a place to access the tube for all points around London. John went out of his way to ensure that our stay began smoothly and contacted us on a number of occasions to ensure things were going smoothly. He is an excellent host. A highly recommended place to stay.

Overall a great place to stay with our kids in London. Was clean and tidy and had all the amenities required. The hosts were also very accommodating and flexible on entry and exit. Four star because I found the matttess in one of the bedrooms to be quite uncomfortable and it likely needs a replacement.
