My reservation was upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom. Given that one of us was using the sofa bed, this was a big help. (The only downside to the upgrade was that there was nothing to see out the windows but walls.) The staff were friendly and there were no unexpected charges. The location is amazing. There is a cab stand outside the front door and the entrance is maybe 100 yards from the South Kensington underground stop.

Super Stay in South Kensington
We had a great stay in a very comfortable and spacious apartment. The location was perfect for easy access to all all parts of London. Best of all was the staff — exceedingly helpful and eager to please. If in London, we would stay there without question.

Nice place to stay - centrally located
We arrived and were greeted warmly and he even offered to help with our luggage. As there is actually an elevator (rare for London), we were able to manage. The room was cozy, but plenty big for the 2 of us. Bonus the bathroom floor is heated! Shower was small, but functioned and had great water pressure. All but one time through the lobby, we were greeted with smiling face of an employee at the desk. Very friendly and accommodating. Steps away from the hotel are tons of restaurants, bakeries, bus stops and the South Kensington tube station. We would totally stay there again!

The main front desk, Dhaval was extremely helpful with all requests we had. We felt he went out of his way on numerous occasions. The hotel is very clean, very modern and nicely furnished. The location is excellent, 1/2 block from the Tube and a block or so to the Natural History & V&A Museum. Would highly recommend - great amenties.

Amazing stay! All concierges were incredibly helpful, gave directions, recommendations, and held our bags for us. The room was immaculate. Cozy, clean, incredibly comfortable bed, and they thought of everything. Great bath products, tea, Nespresso, even milk in the fridge.

Superb
This was a surprise for my partner who had never been to London. The staff at The Cheval could not have made it any more special! Housekeeping were fantastic with their special touches in the room, the guys on front desk were so friendly and helpful and the apartment was stunning. Very comfy bed, extra soft towels and the kitchenette had everything you could need! Will definitely be back, thank you Cheval!

Wasn’t happy at all! Service perks listed and explained are only for direct bookings otherwise, nothing provided and poor behavior of staff if booking done through Expedia. Can clearly hear people in adjacent rooms talking, coughing, their TV, using the facilities, simply disgusted. Listed as washer/dryer in room, not true and studio is almost smaller than average single hotel room. Simply awful!

We strive to provide 5 Star service to ensure all guests receive an enjoyable stay, however on this occasion it seems we have not delivered our promise. After taking into consideration your comments, I would like to firstly apologise for the noise disturbance from other residing guests you received during your stay with us. This really does come as a surprise to read, as we have not received noise complaints from adjacent apartments. With regards to the service from our team, I can only assure you there is no differentiation between guests who book on travel agents and direct, based on the service provided from our teams. Every guest is treated the same. I will however, explain that we do advertise when you book direct, you would receive further perks during your stay such as: Priority upgrades subject to availability and a continental breakfast when booking for 2 nights or more. Upon your arrival, you would have received a welcome hamper inclusive of tea, Nespresso coffee, milk, sugar, and water. This is replenished on an ad hoc basis. If this was not the case, please do let me know and I will ensure this feedback is passed on to the relevant department. Finally, I am sorry to read the specifications of our apartment did not meet your expectations. Our Studio apartments do not offer washer/dryer facilities nor do we advertise, however all other apartment categories do offer this. Our Studio apartments are approximately 30 square metres and offer all of a traveller's needs during their stay. I would suggest if you were to return to consider our One Bedroom Apartments which are much larger and offer more facilities. We do hope to welcome you back in the near future. Interiors is more modern than pictures, well equipped and of good quality. Great location on 3 underground lines, close to station. The only issue is the traffic may disturb at night.

Staffs were attentive and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommend for family with kids. Kitchen is well equipped and all spacious. We will definitely revisit for our next holiday back in London that’s for sure.

The hotel rooms and cosierge service is excellent, especially Roy. They got reservations for us etc.. even tickets to football (soccer). The hotel could improve the curve appeal. The lobby is in bad taste, could be more simple, less busy, but is well located, rooms are new and sparking clean cotton linen, plenty restaurants, on Picadilly line, taxi station at door etc...if you have to many luggage, take taxi to Earl Court that is a handicap station (taxi 6 pounds)...

Clean, friendly, great location
Highly recommend the Cheval Harrington. While our room was small (they have larger rooms and suites), the kitchenette was useful and there was a balcony overlooking an inner court. Our room was quiet, the daily cleaning was exceptional, the staff was helpful and the location was superb. The South Kensington tube station was 1/2 block away, offering direct access to Heathrow, there were lots of restaurants nearby and the V&A museum was 2-3 blocks away. I would definitely stay at the Cheval Harrington again.

The good: upgraded to a nicer, more spacious apartment. The bad: being woken up early by somebody coming in to check fire safety equipment in the room.

Excellent apartment, thoroughly recommended
Excellent accommodation, friendly and helpful serving centre, perfect location for our visits to the Museums and Royal Albert Hall. One minor issue when we lost power to the sockets in the apartment, but this was resolved promptly. Just one thing to alert future hotel guests - when we entered our apartment it was dark inside and the light switches weren't easy to find, as a result of which my husband fell down a step into the living room that he hadn't seen. He wasn't hurt, but could have been. So we would recommend the hotel leaving one light on in the apartment for new guests arriving. Our apartment was on the first floor at the front and we had no issues at all with noise either from tube or street. I'm a light sleeper but slept like a log

Fabulous Stay at Cheval Harrington Court
Staff at the reception are very polite, professional and friendly. My room is on the 1st floor, it is modern, nice and clean, but looks slightly smaller than shown on photos. It has all the basics needed. Wifi is good.

Great hotel. 3 minute walk from the tube station
Very happy experience at this hotel. The staff are friendly and happily dealt with all of our enquieries. The location of the hotel is ideal for getting around London., and is located among great eating places. Old Grumpy runs the local supermarket but everything is available for a short stay.
