Long way out of central London, but good value .
This apartment had everything you need but the sofa is quite worn out & uncomfortable. I was here on business so didn’t spend much time inside at all but if you wanted to relax & watch TV it’s not too comfy. Bedroom very small but clean. Pillows not very good. Overall ok for the price

Does Wotif ever inspect properties ???
Blunt Knives Broken Cooktop Warn out frypan (we purchased our own) Disgusting Duvets & Pillows torn and dirty (health issue we had to purchase our own) Broken Bed Base Lounge seat supports broken No cleaning tools Mould surrounding bedroom window Shower had mould Broken drawers 5 Coat hangers for 3.5 week stay for 3 people (wow they delivered 5 more) Leaking tap in bathroom resulting in wet floor 24/7. 2nd & 4th day no hot water TV reception horrible. We contact you from London and you were supposed to get back to us. Never heard from you. Wotif is an extremely unhelpful site with no postal address. Will never use again. We moved the mattress to the floor in the lounge room on a daily basis and returned it in the morning due to bed base broken. We could not sleep on the bed. We sat at the table and chairs most of the time as the lounge did not support our backs.

No hot water and when I complained was offered no compensation to date. Stay in a reputable hotel, much safer and better value for money

Really bad staff. Don't stay here!!!!!!
Terrible service from Cuba wharf staff. Unable to get into apartment keys didn't work when called staff was told too late and they would come back in the morning when. WE HAD NOW WHERE TO SLEEP. Only after I complained did someone turn up. Called Hotels .com to advise of incident and when put through to customer service phone call conveniently ended....

12 Days of London (Actually 5)
We wrote a little song (to be sung to the 12 days of Christmas) to describe our experience at the warf: On the first day of London, Apartment Wharf gave to me no hot water and cold showers for the family. On the second day of London, Apartment Wharf gave to me 2 broken doorknobs, no hot water and cold showers for the family. On the third day of London, Apartment Wharf gave to me 3 drips from leaky faucets, 2 broken doorknobs, no hot water and cold showers for the family. On the fourth day of London, Apartment Wharf gave to me 4 more cold showers, 3 drips from leaky faucets, 2 broken doorknobs, no hot water and cold showers for the family. On the fifth day of London, Apartment Wharf gave to me 5 splintered door thresholds, 4 more cold showers, 3 drips from leaky faucets, 2 broken doorknobs, no hot water and cold showers for the family. ... Not to mention flickering light bulbs, uncomfortable and outdated furniture including nearly broken chairs, broken exhaust fans, stained carpets, an extensive but unnecessary set of rules, and appliances that did not work.

Apartment great for our family
Smooth check in, lived staying in Canary Wharf. Well equipped, modern apartment and when we notified them of a couple of issues they fixed the problem the same day. Would stay again!

Barely above a hostel
Definitely not worth the cost. Was hit with a hefty deposit after reservations made and paid for. Facilities showing lots of wear, appliances need upgrading. Staff less than professional. Contacted by numerous people for our check-in time. They need to talk to each other or at least annotate the reservation. Zero sympathy when we couldn't make the check-in time. Traffic jam lasted hours due to closure of Tower Bridge, so cost us an additional fee and they made it sound like it was entirely our fault that we were late, despite knowing of the bridge closure. Would have been nice if they had given us a heads up of traffic problems during the multiple calls. Info book provided for apartment contained more info on how we could be fined rather than useful info on the facilities themselves. Claimed parking available only to find out it was several blocks away and required a trip to their office to get access.

As written in the fine print, visible before making the reservation, we have to hold £300 as deposit in case of damage to the property, but it is going to be refunded within 6 working days after your check-out, depending on your bank. Lovely
First time we'd booked an apartment instead of a hotel ,but with 5 of us it seemed the more logical option.Aprtment was very pleasant and comfortable , only a couple of grumbles , the TV picture wa snit good and with 2 teenage boys this was important, also the bed in the main bedroom was awful . The mattress was so uncomfortable, and the bed was so low down , it was a mission for even the most lithe of us to climb in to, unfortunately this did spoil our experience of the apartment, being out all day sightseeing, all you want at night is a comfortable bed .

Apartment 5 mins walk from Canary Wharf tube
This is a good sized serviced flat diagonally opposite the britannia hotel and within a few minutes walk of canary wharf. The flat is convenient with everything needed to self cater for a week and a tesco supermarket at the end of the road. The flat had been cleaned but soft furnishings including the carpet and sofa are heavily stained and marked. Pillows and duvets are also stained albeit the covers are clean. On balance, this gives the impression of a high tirnover rental rather than a serviced apartment. Note that the flat comes with two towels for a week stay and no cleaning is undertaken during this time. As such, it differs from most serviced flats i've used which are generally refreshed on alternate days. The price is good given the location but maybe the cost cutting in servicing and refurbishment is starting to show.

You Deserve Better
IF YOU WORK IN CANARY WHARF, believe me, you deserve better than the treatment this "hospitaility" firm doles out. Obtaining the key required speaking to three separate people, one of whom demanded a £50 penalty for not obtaining the key in advance (I kid you not!). THEN I was required to pay at £300 deposit using an iPad with all contract language in some Eastern language I didn't recognize (hey - always happy to make things convenient for the vendor!). THEN I endured four days of incessant street and tram noise day and night. All in all, an unpleasant stay.

Dear Ron, thank you for your feedback. Your came as a surprise to us. As it can be read on the ''house rules'' before making the reservation on the website you booked from, we request your estimated arrival in order to meet you at the property. Our regular check-in time is from 3pm to 7pm. We apply an extra fee of £30 if you arrive at the property from 7pm to 9pm, while an extra fee of £50 applies if your check-in takes place between 9pm and 12am. The "house rules" also state that we request £300 of breakages deposit which would be refunded in 6 working days after the check-out, depending on your bank. The person in charge of your check-in is Romanian and had her iPad in her own language. Yet all the rules and payment procedures were in English as usual. Regarding the noise from the trains, this finds us even more surprised since the apartment is not located on the main street and the area is usually very quiet. Regards, Apartment Wharf Team

Great apartment
Stayed for about 11 days, was a few mins away from DLR stations and canary wharf underground station. It was nice, cosy and comfy with all amenities perfect for a week long stay with a packed schedule. It felt like a home away from home. Also close to small supermarket and restaurant and bus stop. Would totally stay there again.

Siisti huoneisto isommalle porukalle
Huoneisto oli ihan siisti, pieniä vikoja löytyi, mutta ei kuitenkaan majoittumista oleellisesti haittaavia. Metroasemalle oli noin puoli kilometriä ja lähin kauppa oli noin sadan metrin päässä. Lähistöltä löytyi lukuisia ravintoloita. Sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä tehtiin 300 punnan talletus luottokortilla, joka palautetaan muutaman päivän kuluessa uloskirjautumisesta.

Endroit peu d'intérêt pour sejouner à Londres malgré l'accès facile au cœur de Londres en métro, l'immeuble ne possède pas d'accueil pour y laisser nos bagages avant le Check in and out, mais on peut s'arranger avec le loueur - L'appartement est grand et au calme seulement le week-end car travaux juste en face de la baie vitrée - 2 chambres avec une moquette pas propre, fuite d'eau dans une salle de bain..... Au niveau cuisine les ustensiles sont fatigués notamment les poêles ! manque l'essentiel torchon et,produit vaisselle ! Le lave vaisselle fonctionne très mal ! Et la télé est aussi fatiguée, impossible d'utiliser les télés commandes - Des petites choses certes peu importantes mais qui agacent ! En bas de l'immeuble un surpermarché très pratique pour les petites courses -

Very good value for money!
All in all a stay that surpassed our expectations in relations to the price! We were six adults that stayed 2 nights in order to see some good English football. The price vs. value factor was very high keeping in mind that London usually disappoints you in that respect. The beds was OK, but kind of small to sleep two in, but it all worked out if the ones sharing beds are not to overweight. Sure, it is a minor hassle that you have to show up at a certain time to obtain the keys but I think that part of the service was very smooth. The rental firm checked with us 2 times that we could make it in time and were very customer oriented. Also the guy that handed the key over and gave us "the what you need to think of speech" was very nice and friendly plus he gave some good advice. The furniture is a bit tired, but functional and more important is that the whole apartment was very clean when we arrived! It was also close to public transport so access was very quick to and from the apartment. Please keep in mind that Google Map shows you the wrong house, its Cuba street 20 you should set your GPS on! All in all a surprisingly good stay!

Awesome apartment in a fancy area of London at a reasonable prize. Access to the inner city is very easy, too. Only downside for us was the fact that arriving before 9pm was impossible and paying a late checkin fee of 50 GBP kinda hurts. Apart from that I would highly recommend a stay here and would go there myself again.
