"Room a reasonable size although the bed a little snug for a double. On the whole the hotel was good although felt a little sparse in places due to its size. Breakfast was very good - a lot of choice and well prepared. with an amazing view of the surrounding hills."

"Room was disgustingly dirty.Tv did not work No information regarding breakfast in the room or given on checking in.went down 9.00am and it had already finshed. When showed the manager the photos of the state of the room Was told the compact rooms are small that was not the issue it was the filth. I knew the room was going to be small. "Spacious, comfortable room. Staff need a few lessons in manners, attentiveness and dress code. Breakfast okay, nothing to write home about. Staff wore jeans, trainers and blouses, not quite what I would have expected. One member of staff in breakfast room rather rude. We ordered breakfast both without sourdough toast and asked for brown toast separately. Breakfast arrived served on top of brown toast, not separate as requested. I said we had asked for it separate and she went to take plate away. I said just to leave it and bring toast separately. She returned with one slice in a toast rack. I said I had requested toast for 2 on the side. She grabbed the toast rack and said if you tell me what you want I will get it. Strange I thought I already had! Had requested a room with bath in message to hotel prior to arrival. None available but not even acknowledged by Receptionist, just said none available. At checkout we weren't asked how our stay was, but did offer have a nice day as we were leaving. Such a shame, as this used to be our go to Hotel in Oban since it first opened, but that is definitely our last visit"

"Such a lovely place, very clean, great location. The room was actually much nicer than it looks in the photos. Much nicer and bigger. Although the restaurant was closed during our stay, the host provided with small breakfast items and refilled everyday. Will definitely stay again "

"Dinner was great. Breakfast was not that good (not the same Chef as dinner). Room was fine. We just spent one night there and it was good for a stop over."
