Great welcome friendly staff and very helpful the level is what added that extra special touch to our stay.will book again and looking forward to coming back.
A solid 4 star hotel, lacking those details to make it a 5 star.
Pros: staff very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and area.
Cons: breakfast/dinner: limited choice and food not replenished/left for too long. Some dishes served with wooden scissor tongs a joke…
Spa not open yet and building work ongoing - strong varnish smell in lobby/restaurant area.

Falsely advertised as a spa hotel but they have not built the spa facilities or the indoor pool yet. When we questioned this they took no responsibility and blamed Expedia. Garden areas are just dry patches of grass that have had little attention. Staff are all pretty junior and not able to deal with requests without referring to a manager. There were not enough sun loungers and not enough staff to clear empty glasses from the pool area and to re-set breakfast tables. There was a good variety of food and the decor of the hotel was pleasant but overall a disappointing experience for a “5 star” hotel.
Stayed one night, a fragrance scent in the hotel air was not friendly gave me a headache. I would have given a better score but the scent was unbearable. Very boutique style not sure if it should be rated a 5 stars hotel.

The connecting room is too small and the price is too expensive for that kind of room. And the floor is broken. This is unbelievable for the 5 start hotel.
This property we felt was a really poor standard it would be lucky to be a 3* anywhere else. Not sure why they have golf in the advertisement as you would struggle to get a mini golf course on site. The spa was closed so couldn’t use that which was fine but very small pool area so space was limited.
Food was very poor at the lunch restaurant and also the buffet dining nothing was fresh and they couldn’t seem to make there mind up on what they put in there Caesar salad as it would change every day.
Be aware that if you book full board that only includes food not drinks every drink at the resort you must pay for which is fine but make sure you keep some spending money to the side.
One bonus for this hotel was the room they were nice and spacious and always cleaned to a great standard.
This hotel is no where close to a 5 star. Un friendly staff. You pay 90 Euro for a buffet only to notice that quite some stuff are done in first 45 min and being told that is over and cannot be remade.

No manager on duty past 7 PM? All four + stars hotels have an MOD. I would not recommend this hotel. Our stay and experience was poorly handle due to no accountability by manager not being present when requested upon it. In additon staff in place did not have any power of decision.
Hotel Direction may have done some renovation , but was really poorly done, shower unsafe since water were leaking and floor really slippery.
We were given an ADA compliant room for folks who did not needed. Additionally , the shower should have needed a chair and handles for a disable person.
We wanted to expierence The Costa Brava, but we felt , we were not welcomed. It took more than 4 hours of complain and asking for a manager who was not present. FINALLY!!! By 10 PM. the staff finally gave us a suite , we never receive a formal apology by the management only the staff in place were the one professional enough to do the right thing.
Really sad to encounter no accounatability in A 4+ hotel.

As an Expedia customer I’ve come to expect little from VIP Upgrades. And the room allocated had no working aircon. I didn’t report until checkout . But . its supposed to be 5*. Aircon control was not even connected to electricity so could not have been fixed anyway.
This was for the Deluxe Garden room.
Le petit déjeuner était bien mais par contre la chambre catastrophique. Il y avait une odeur dégoût dans la salle de bain très très forte. Qu’on ne pouvait y rester plus de 2 min.
Je vous laisse imaginer quand on devait prendre une douche. C’était des douche très express.
On l’a signalée à l’accueil et un agent est venu juste mettre du produit pour sentir bon.
Nous y sommes rester 2 nuits et je peux vous dire que je n’y reviendrai plus.
