"We had a lovely stay it was very clean and everything you needed apart from a gas cooker. Beatrice was lovely and very welcoming the only thing we was a little uncomfortable with was we felt we was living with her as she was next door and her balcony was right next to ours. It was more a guest room than an apartment with her being next to us. We couldn't relax thinking tv might be to loud, or music not that we have it on loud but we was still worried. "The Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was great though the bed mattress was soft and saggy and overdue for replacement! Also the weather was changing and although the heating came on at 5pm and was very effective, arriving back at 4pm from the wet and cold outside the room was decidedly cool. Recognise this is a difficult balance... We had an okay meal on first night and a great breakfast on the first morning but really felt the price of food and drink was excessive and ate elsewhere in the village for the rest of our stay enjoying equally good food for around 20% less"
