"Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Bar staff friendly and real ale, (one), was good. Bar food was typical middle of the road pub grub, not good nor bad, but... meh! Hotel staff were good and welcoming. All in all, not bad for the money and would stay again. "

"A very calming place to stay, with views over open fields and hills, with really helpful staff and possibly the best breakfast I've had in a hotel in a long time. I would recommend the Groes Inn near Conwy to anyone travelling in the area."

"On arrival we were pleased to find a cabin with toilets, a kettle and microwave close by. All correspondence before our arrival was clear and made getting into the pod simple. It was lovely and warm-almost too warm! The shower block is a short walk away with plenty of space. The facilities at Adventure Parc are super and we enjoyed a busy morning on our final day with staff going above and beyond to help our family. Had there been lots more people staying in the pods I think more kettles, microwaves and washing up facilities would be needed. It's more set up for visitors to use the on site cafe but we brought our fridge and used the microwave to eat so no issues. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to friends."

"Welcoming at reception and told about where things were very helpful and understanding Ron was clean and bright with out look onto canal my only niggle was WiFi in room not the best but great at reception and could not tv to work radio through tv ok but wanted to watch a bit of telly overall great place to stop food food and lot of welcoming staff"

"Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good."
