The location was really good for me. Room was fine though slight smell. Great to have a kettle. Shower needs a couple of hooks to hang clothes and towels on. Kitchen is a partly a building site and I did not find a fridge. I did not see anyone when checking in but the codes and information sent by SMS all worked well.

please try to avoid this hotel. we dirty. 2nd day we were roomless. only limited onsite parking. maximum 5 cars can be. we struggled. rooms not clean. advert like onsite bathroom. but its shared bathroom. only toilet inside.

Dirty room. Pics of dirty toilet, walls and lamp. Was not informed that bathing facilities were shared. Hotel did not provide refund as promised as I had to find somewhere else to stay at 11pm at night

sorry but based on the advertisment it wasnt what we expected. its too old and rundown. no shower in our room it was on otherside of hall. No TV . Needs renovating before quests BOOK and the mess cleaned up.we did not stay there and left within 10 minutes and lost our 5 nights money. use it to clean

A shower was not working properly, the water was once cold and then too hot. I had to adjust temperature all the time and it took long time. I did not received towels nor soap. It seemed that my bed was not cleaned after a previous occupant of that room. The kitchen was in a squalid condition and ruined. At night one man attempted to get into my room. He had the same room reserved. We tried to contact anyone to open any hotel room. No one answered. He slept in the corridor. I should get a refund for it.

ACHTUNG! Auf keinen Fall dieses Hotel buchen, die Zimmer sind dreckig und eine halbe Ruine. Die Decke bricht runter, die Zimmerwände sind beschmiert und es stinkt in den Zimmern und als Dankeschön werden einem noch wegen einer angeblich beschädigten Wand 100 Pfund in Rechnung gestellt. Trotz Beweisfotos, das die Wand schon vorher beschädigt war. Absolute Betrüger!

Get what you pay for.

Its basic you get what you pay for. It would have been nice to have a sheet that wasn't stained from other guests. The loft hatch was opened as well which was a bit scary. Our room was also double booked, we where lucky we got to the room first or we would have been screwed.

Don't book SeftonPark Chillpads-totally unreliable

Appalling Service - They had some problem with taking my payment - There was no issue with my card. They sent me a text. As soon as I saw it when I was already half way to Liverpool fro the South Coast, I responded but when I got through the unhelpful bloke who took the call said they had relet the room. As a result I had to pay for a much more expensive room at another hotel as i did not have the luxury of doing further research whilst driving

No frills.

The overall condition of the room was poor. There were lightbulbs missing and the fridge had no shelving inside it. The wall was full of holes and the window in the bathroom would not close so very cold and drafty. The room lock was only into the soft wood frame which I did not notice until the last morning. The room was clean and so was the bedding. We had two very peaceful restfull nights at the chill pads and the condition did not spoil our break. The room we had would suite a contractor staying away for a couple of nights to complete a job. I would have to think twice before using them again. The room we had did not have a TV. Quite and peaceful but no frills.

Good location, clean, but needs upgrading!

I was visiting family in my native City. On arrival I couldn’t find the house as no number was given only the name ‘Chillipads’ which was on a board outside the building (in the photograph) however on my arrival the board was missing! After several minutes walking up and down in the poor weather, I phoned the number given and was given accurate guidance to the premises. This was not the start I wanted or needed. My main complaint was the traffic noise level that was constant day and night from each side of the building. There was no double or secondary glazing. The curtains were unlined and therefore allowed constant light to enter the room during the night and and a security light attached to the neighbouring building constantly flashed on and off during the night! The shared shower on the on the first floor needs major upgrading, and I only used it once. Everything else was fine! Would I stay there again? No!
