"The whole experince was fantastic. Only exception was to do with the room tax. We stayed an extra night and you could not get into your room without paying the tax which was very annoying as it was 2am in the morning when i needed to get in my room and my purse was in my room!! Given i had booked 5 people in i thought was poor service not to take it on trust that i would pay in the morning before checking out."

"We stayed for one night, a Sunday, as a celebratory treat for our wedding anniversary. The Adelphi came up on searches based on location because we were going to see Marillion at the Philharmonic Hall. We were also intrigued to stay at the Adelphi because my late father stayed there many times in the 1980s with work. The building is stunning inside and out and a joy to stay in. The staff are friendly, helpful and happy. We had a great night in a beautiful room with a lovely buffet breakfast. So much food and choice and plenty of seating for quieter zone people too. Very reasonable priced stay for a Liverpool city stay. Well done Adelphi and staff."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Its location was great for any Beatles fan, lots of close by gems. A shout out to Perry for his spot on recommendations for food and games and to Maria for her sincere hospitality, always with a smile. She went above and beyond making us feel welcomed. Thanks again"

"Everything about the hotel is wonderful except the breakfast. The room is understaffed, therefore: no plates or bowls sometimes, not enough fruit or other selections, the host was also busser and table setup man, logjams at coffee and toast area (more staff could serve pots of tea and coffee). The staff there was did an incredible job under the circumstances and deserve more assistance. We loved our room."

"Great location. Good room, but it only had 1 chair considering it could sleep 6. Shower was very good, but could've had a bath mat as the floor became very slippy when wet. Overall had an excellent stay and would go there again."
