"What really made this place special was the people. The grounds were beautiful. The tree house huts were cute and such a vibe, but the staff were what truly sold us on the resort. Not much in the form of nightly entertainment, but you can always go off resort. All in all- would book again and highly recommend."

"This resort is good, the food was great, rooms are beautiful, the beach is small and has some rocks when entering. If you are not a member of their premier club you can’t access certain areas. They also have many restrictions like men cannot wear sleeveless shirt to buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can’t walk on the beach to adult area or you can’t access their infinity pool if not a member. Also, keep in mind that this resort is far from the airport it took us 1.5 hrs to get there and the roads are pretty bad there no highways. "

"I loved how when I got there they upgraded me to a Oceanview room. Everyone was just so friendly so courteous so helpful always smiling can’t wait to go again next year. It was a wonderful Mother’s Day refrigerator was well stocked plenty of towels. Everything was just excellent."

"Had an ocean view room which had a great view and was quite close to the water. We wanted a room with two beds but had to settle for a queen bed and a cot. We didn’t have all inclusive plan but paid for drinks and enjoyed the pizza made at resort. Walking to nearby restaurants was a little nervous as there isn’t much of a shoulder on the road. Pool was warm and clean. We were there for a week and saw a band play twice there. Awesome!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Montego Bay. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The food was fresh, plentiful, and offered a good variety, which we really appreciated. The beach and water were also very clean and beautiful, making it easy to enjoy our time by the ocean. The only downside during our stay was the beach vendors. They were very persistent and often continued approaching us even after we politely said no several times. At times, vendors came directly to our beach umbrella multiple times, which interrupted the relaxing experience. I’m not sure whether this is permitted by the hotel, but it was the only part of the trip that felt uncomfortable. Overall, we had a great vacation and would still recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff, good food, and beautiful beach."
