""Shimmers" is one of the best places we have stayed on the island and we have been coming for a good few years. We have stayed in some lovely places and some shabby but this is definitely in the former category. The house feels brand new with lovely linen and towels, a superb kitchen and the whole layout exudes calm and relaxation which is what we needed. The maid came twice a week and in this respect it is akin to staying in a hotel but with complete privacy. Of course its on the golden coast...
