A quiet little gem as a holiday hideaway

We adored this quiet, beautiful bed & breakfast - and, even more so, adored our hosts Gerry and Steve. They were so welcoming and made our stay so personel and perfect. Loved it - thank you so much guys!!

Awesome, helpful, exactly what we wanted!

Was the best stay we could have asked for. Geri made amazing breakfasts each morning and gave us all the information we could have asked for to help us on our days of adventure around the island. Would 100% recommend this place for all travelers.

Great place away from the tourists

Steve and Geri were wonderful! Geri even had breakfast for us early as we had a flight to catch. The location was great - bus service into town and close to the beach, away from Bridgetown.

The owners are so friendly and kind. Geri's homemade bread is sooo healthy and delicious. I would definitely love to come back here for my authentic Barbados holidays. Hearing the waves and the birds outside my window plus the rain made it such a restful place for the body and soul. Mingling with the locals is very easy as they're sooo funny and welcoming

Good value and location

We enjoyed our one night stay at Gemini House. The room was comfortable with AC and ensuite bathroom. View of the ocean. A wonderful breakfast and the highlight was meeting our hosts. Very much enjoyed talking with them. Would stay again.

The property was close to the airport and the functions I needed to attend. It was in a safe area and the hosts were warm and inviting. They made sure we were well looked after and were always courteous. We had a good breakfast too.We will stay there again at anytime.

Very congenial

Everything very comfortable although the bed creaked with every movement. We loved the overhead shower. The hostess, Gerry, was most gracious and entertaining. A good homemade breakfast.

Fantastic quiet and safe location for overnight stay between flights. Great to be able to have a walk along the beach and coast before breakfast. Easy taxi ride from airport and hosts sent good instructions. Great home cooked breakfast on patio with sound of the ocean. Enjoyed chatting with Geri. Bed comfortable and room had both air conditioning and overhead fan. Bathroom had what was needed, a little worn but not a problem. As a solo female Traveller felt very safe and nice to be staying somewhere away from the tourist resorts. Perfect for what I wanted.

I was welcomed with open arms almost felt like I was visiting extended family. The area is safe and walkable down to the beach. The beach is more for surfers but it has its areas where you can get enjoy it. I was able to walk to the neighborhood store to pick up some snacks, drink etc. The room was clean with air conditioning. I got a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good specially after a run that I had taken around the neighborhood. It’s close to the airport and they helped with my transportation to the airport. I would stay here again and the hospitality was excellent.

Kinda yuck, but nice people

The people who run this little B&B are so sweet that I hate to say anything negative. And normally, for small things, I would let it go. But this place needs some serious work. Shabby old towels, shabby and threadbare stained sheets, dirty corners everywhere. If someone would just clean it properly, it would improve the experience exponentially. But there were good things about it too-- the lovely proprietress, the homemade breakfast (and tea from a cup that was horribly stained on the inside though 😩), the natural breezes and location.
This is not my hair!
Come on, cleaning around windows is NOT hard.
What...are these stains on the sheets. 😩

Quick layover on way to Bequia

I was flying from London to Bequia but my transatlantic flight to Barbados was re scheduled meaning I would miss my connection. I had to stay the night in Barbados and needed just a room for 1 near the airport. Found Gemini B&B for a reasonable rate and booked for 1 night. Was welcomed on arrival by Geri after have received excellent instructions regarding getting a taxi from the airport. I was shown to the room which had a big firm bed, tv, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bathroom and toilet was next door which I had sole use of. Geri booked me a cab for the morning back to the airport and made me breakfast of an omelette, toast, juice, fruit and coffee. The room provided me with everything that I needed at a very reasonable price. My only suggestion would be to de-scale or replace the shower head as it was a bit clogged up. Overall, an excellent stay and recommended. Many thanks to Geri and Steve.
