"Room had roaches, there were issues with staff, the card machine was down when I checked in after like 20 mins the staff decided to waive the deposit the next morning the front desk guy demanded I go pay for the deposit even tho we were about to check out I explained to him what happened at first he didn’t care and was quite rude . But ended up not charging the deposit, however he told me it don’t matter if I had already paid the room when I booked if deposit is paid I don’t get keys. IT IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT THE MACHINE DONT WORK OR THE STAFF HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO. The bed was comfy but didn’t appreciate the roaches chillin in the room they didn’t help pay for. I’ll b canceling my return stay."

"Solo traveler I went for 4 days to hang out in CT. This location was close to what I needed. Staff are nice and property is definitely 3 star headed towards 2 stars .. but it gets the job done for the stay. There are no microwaves You can park in the garage for free if you don’t tell the front desk people you have a car other wise it’s $15 per day $3 per hour … They told me I couldn’t use my points at check out to cover food ordered at the bistro .. even though when I was at the bistro, they told me that I could use the points… So I think there’s a level of miscommunication amongst the staff"

"They do a three star job of being a 3-star hotel. It’s worn and any room repairs were done with minimal skills. The tub felt Like it was paper thin. The bed was a marshmallow But the staff was nice, particularly house keeling. All on site restaurants are closed Mon and Tue. Free coffee in the lobby in the AM"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. The property was modern and welcoming. Our room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had excellent amenities. One thing that we noticed in our room, however, was that it had a desk chair, but not a desk area or table to work at a laptop nor did it have a place to put our suitcases. Not a huge issue - we used the laptop on the bed. The breakfast was the best we had at a hotel in our 2+ weeks of travelling. I would highly recommend this property. "

"The best way to describe this hotel. It’s a vintage hotel with a really nice vibe. Has an outdoor pool. Has an indoor pool as well that is heated. a really big fitness center with a couple TVs. Sometimes the lobby temperature could be off heck no big deal. I’ll come here every year. Pool outside is on pomperaug river overlooking the golf course. Plenty of parking. Restaurant onsite with great drinks and bar menu. TVs. Closes at 900/930pm"
