  • I took this in March in Sintra, Portugal! It's at the fairy tale castle Pena Palace :). This is one of the lovely close-up views. It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. It is also used for state occasions by the President of the Portuguese Republic and other government officials. Thanks to Wikipedia for help ;).

Awesome location. A bit of a walk from downtown Sintra but it had a big public parking lot right next door. We parked the car and walked downtown and to all of the castles. The room was extremely small but it was all we needed. Try "pasta de nata" frim the coffee shop next door......amazing!

Great place and off the beaten path to avoid the crowds. If you got the legs you can walk or bus everywhere.

Had trouble getting checked in. A WHAT'S APP option would have been nice to avoid roaming on phone. Otherwise a lovely room and close parking and walked to two castles.

Tutto perfetto! Grazie a Vasco per la sua disponibilità e gentilezza! Camera nuova e molto carina e soprattutto pulita, letto comodo. Doccia molto grande. Di fronte all’hotel fermata per bus per Cabo da Roca e poco più avanti i bus che portano alle attrazioni di Sintra. Lo consiglio ottima sistemazione!
