While the guest rooms were small and in need of modernizing renovation the hotels staff were excellent. The front office agents made our stay and were the true stars!

Ok, the staff is great. Very helpful especially Silvia! The location couldn’t be better being right off the main boulevard in Lisbon City Center. Even their restaurant I would give 5 stars. Now with that said my advice to all looking to book there Do Not Accept a Room on the Fifth Floor. Most hotels have dormers on the 5th floor so while that floor has small French balconies that slanted ceiling you have to deal with makes the room much smaller and some what cramped. We had stayed at another My Story hotel two years ago on the 4th floor and was wonderful. This time this hotel had no lobby, just the restaurant indoor seating area. That and the fact that our room had no dresser of any type meant having to spread out suitcase clothing on the floor. I know that I should not have accepted that room the moment I saw it so that’s on me but we had just come off our Norwegian cruise, we were tired and just wanted to relax but had to wait until 3 to get into the room - that was 6 hours later. You can have them store your luggage until the room opens but really with no lobby there was no place to even sit down. Just walk around for 6 hours.

Room coood not have been smaller. We had a 2 night stay and no where to put luggage at all and bathroom had no space to put anything. Ideal for a one night but not beyond this for a stay over.

Liked that it was on the pedestrian zone with so much choice for dining and shopping, and so close to the waterfront. Didn't like how tiny the rooms were, barely bigger than the bed itself, and the shower had a door that we could barely squeeze into. Room was very hot in the evening, and very cold in the morning, with no way to adjust the thermostat from the room itself, and no answer when we called the front desk. Expected a little more comfort than that for the >300 euro/night we paid.

An hotel right in the heart of bustling Lisbon, conveniently situated for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. Although in the centre it was really quiet at nighttime due to excellent double glazing. Great to have air conditioning as it was very hot during our stay. The room was cleaned every day and linen was changed regularly. The staff were all very friendly and polite.

The property was in a great location! Close to everything in the old town. Room was clean and staff was friendly. They even let us borrow a converter for the outlets. We stored our luggage after checking out so we could see everything we wanted to see. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Lisbon!

Just back from week here, Fantastic location, rooms were small but ideal as we spent very little time in them, only issue was the shower was leaking water out onto the floor of the bathroom, special mention to Sha and Saidur in the bar, they were amazing, so attentive and friendly couldn't do enough for you.

Fantastic staff, Sofia and Joce were especially helpful and gave a lot of good advice. Easy to get around from this location either by foot, subway/bus, or taxi. Charming historic building that has been renovated into a hotel. If you need a lot of space (e.g., for accessibility) or travel with more than carry-on size luggage, given the small rooms (historical property, they are prohibited from making structural changes) I would check with the hotel before reserving if your needs can be accommodated.

Nice inexpensive hotel in the heart of city cente
Nice hotel in the heart of city center Lisbon. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are tiny, but the price is right considering the location and the condition of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to a couple or a solo traveler.

Lovely stay. Basic facilities but all you need for a city break. Charge for Tea Coffee in room which is unfortunate.

Everything was great. We arrived super early and the staff was welcoming in checking us in and holding our bags. They sent us a message as soon as our room was open. The views of the alleyways were so fun. The location was fabulous. And everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

AC needs to be updated
First the pros..great location and very helpful staff. The biggest problem for me was the AC. In the night I like it cool but the hotel only has 1 AC unit per floor so the AC in your room only works if the temperature is set to what all other rooms have it set to. So bizzare! So difficult to sleep.

Can't ask for a better location. It's so close to the very famous Praça do Comércio. Attractions, bakeries, Tram 28...you name it, they are all very walkable, including the Rossio train station. The room is not very big but very, very stylish and clean. The staffs are super friendly, nice and helpful!! My return flight got canceled unexpectedly and they managed to extend my stay without me having to change room - and assisted me with getting the Uber to the airport the day I headed home. I really appreciate every effort they made to ensure the guests are comfortable and able to explore Lisbon carefree. Thank you very much!

The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful! We had a very early arrival and we were able to safely store our luggage without issue Despite our room facing a busy street, it was very quiet. The room was spacious (queen bed) with enough store for luggage. Bathroom was clean and the shower was a good size! Great location! I recommend this hotel!

Central location, but quiet
Much nicer hotel than I anticipated. Right in the middle of the action in Baixa, but with excellent double panes windows that locked the noise out. Comfortable bedding, good lighting, spacious room and bathroom. Did not eat at the restaurant or bar, but nice to know it was an option. Would stay here again.

Good location
Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Lisbon and everything you need is in easy reach. Bathrooms were a bit small / tight to get into and needed a little 'tlc' to bring them up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Would happily stay in a 'My Story' hotel again.

The hotel was nice, but they didn't allow for early check in. We were asked what time we would arrive, which was noon. Upon arrival we were told to come back at 3:00 as our room wasn't ready. We came back at 3:00 and had to wait an additional 40 minutes to check in. This was at the end of a very long trip and we were exhausted.

Great Central location which is what I look for in a city break. Breakfast delicious and fresh. Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and noise from street entertainment till 11 ish at night but the wooden shutters cut out most of it. It didnt bother us. Bed comfy and as a base with lots to see and do it was perfect. Value for money. Bathroom shower doors could do with improvement but clean and tidy. Would revisit.

Everything was great! We booked the standard double and were given a room on the 5th floor with a balcony. Im a light sleeper and was concerned about street noise and there was none! Maybe on the lower floors you may hear it but where we were was silent. Breakfast was really decent - eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms, toast, breads, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries, tarts, tea, coffee, orange juice. Location is superb. 5 mins walk to metro for airport and central to all sights/attractions. If I had to be picky the only negative for us were the pillows - very soft and lumpy but it was a minor point and an otherwise perfect stay.

Great property close to Cruise Port. No need to get a cab if you can walk about 1 km on uneven pavement. Loved the Nescafe coffee machine in room. Clean, quiet. Would stay there again. Small room but typical of Europe.

Cozy, clean hotel at the heart of Lisbon
Wonderful hotel at the heart of Lisbon. Very clean, efficient and cozy. The only disadvantage is room size - room was really small. Other than that, really enjoyed the stay in this hotel and would definitely book it again in the future.

Conveniently located next to the main strip, yet very quiet inside. Within a fifteen minutes walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Less than five minutes to the water. The staffs are amazing. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

My story hotel Augusta was in a great location in Lisbon! You are right in the action of the tourist area.. you have dining options all around you, shopping, coffee shops, etc. The restaurant in the hotel was very good, staff were great. Rooms were clean.. they were a little small but that’s ok we weren’t in our room too much anyways and they were nice! We would definitely return to this hotel.
