Arrived January 20 for a week. It was conveniently located, making it walkable to all areas. The room was spotless. Check in was fast and staff were very helpful. They always had their famous little tarts in the lobby with fruit water. I would recommend this hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was newish and very corporate. Staff were really helpful and a credit to the hotel. Breakfast very good. Location wise it’s out of the way. Worked ok but there isn’t a lot around the area.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Room in good condition but difficult to control the room temperature and was slightly too warm. The sauna was out of order. I would return to this hotel. Very good location, with restaurants, shops and cafeterias nearby. Short walk to the underground and bus stops.

Too Hot - Won't Stay Here Again

Location 10 minute to Liberty Avenue for shopping/restaurants/tours and 5 miles (but 30 minute drive) to airport. Towels were thin. Hairdryer, body soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in pump bottles in the bathroom. Mini fridge, safe/vault and closet/drawers. Room was very clean, bed just ok. Staff was friendly - nice surprise that when we arrived early with a room immediately available. Morning housekeeping only allowed 1 roll toilet paper when I asked for two rolls (odd). Biggest disappointment was our room was SO HOT. Early November outside was in the low 70s F (22-24 Celsius) but the room was much hotter. After first night sweating, I asked the front desk to look into this issue or relocate our room. Told maintenance fixed the issue. Although it was not as hot the next two nights of our stay, it was never cool in the room. We tried sleeping with the window open, but it was too loud outside. In fairness, when we checked out I told the person at the desk again that AC never worked and they comped my 4 breakfast charges. However, a frustrated guest also in the lobby at the same time said he was changing hotels because his room was too hot. Door to bathroom is terrible - smoked glass that does not have a door knob (swinging door) providing little privacy. Breakfast was good - lots of options for only €12/person/day. Great restaurant in walking distance called Lidia. We did not use parking lot or gym, so can’t comment on that. Stayed at Eurostars in Madrid - better!

Disappointment in customer care

Good location and seemingly clean hotel, but if you have a problem you may get disappointed with the way it will be handled. I tried calling for days to cancel my first day to extend my stay at other Eurostars in PortoDuoro but could not get front desk to puck up my call, the other hotels or hotels.com's call. Finally di but was now too late to change dates. NP But then got to hotel and had no A/C because the hotel's excuse was it is not yet the time of year to allow system to come on eventhough A/C is offered on description when booking. One front desk clerk said on my first night he would have the A/C on the next day. The next day at the front desk I am met with a very rude and unaccomodating young women, I can't use the word lady because she sure was not. She wanted to change me into a smaller room but only to find out from the maintenance that it doesn't have A/C either nor any of the rooms. I will never stay at this location again. Very disappointed with their customer service, it's so important when traveling but this location doesn't yet understand....Come on managers, figure this out!

Nice hotel and helpful staff

Hotel is nice and staff helpful, good location for what I needed. Only downside is its on the flight path and you do hear the planes, I think this would be the same for any hotel in the area.
