"The hotel is clean and has good decor but it is in an undeveloped area and is overpriced. We paid the same for a 4 star hotel in Ortigia which had a bigger room and proper restaurant. To get to the main Lipari town you need to get on a local bus which takes about 15 minutes. The area is a bit run down with no decent restaurants. The wifi didn't work in our room during the evening. Other people were more fortunate. We must have been in a black spot. The staff didn't help with this...

"Front desk staff were FABULOUS. Guidetta was amazingly helpful arranging so many things for us and offering very helpful information. She really went above and beyond and made our stay most memorable. Antonio in the dining was also superb, so personable and hard working. The gardens were lovely and the pool clean and inviting. The whole facility is a pleasure to enjoy. The colors, the style, the ambience - we had an excellent experience."
