"The property is very cute and the breakfast is great each morning! However, there are many parts of the hotel that were under construction, either being built or fixed. The hottub was empty sitting by my room, so unable to use that. There were also no staff in the afternoons or evenings when I was there, so I could not enjoy the bar aspect of the outdoor dining area. "I cannot emphasize enough the absolute beauty of this property. The hotel is situated on a cliffside about a 15 minute walk from Marina Corta. The pool and rocky sea-access are breathtaking. If you snag a chair in the morning, which were sometimes hard to come by with people "reserving" chairs with towels, you can spend the day lounging and taking dips into the ocean. Incredible. Breakfast was included, though a little basic, but the views from the restaurant alone make up for it. The AC worked well in the rooms, which were a little basic, but we were not expecting perfection on an island. There is a small, reasonably well air conditioned gym in a room by the pool. The restaurant for dinner was fine, but I would recommend going into town to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bartenders were great. I really cannot emphasize enough, however, how beautiful this place is. I had a great stay."

"Eugenio is an excellent host. Very tentative to our needs and helpful with local things to see and do while visiting the islands. The place is absolutely beautiful. Old world architecture built at the base of the castle wall and furnished with the hosts family heirlooms. The home has very high fresco ceilings in the two bedroom suites. Each with their own sitting areas and balconies over looking Via Garibaldi. The arched windowed walkway to the upper kitchen, second bath and outdoor tropical garden and terrace are well designed and furnished with family heirlooms as well . We enjoyed watching the two turtles roam in the tropical garden and the friendly blackbird. Great location close to Marina Corta."

"Staff were amazing, A Air conditioning worked perfectly. Our Superior Sea View room had a great view. The pool was our favourite part, as the weather never dropped below 30 degrees, it was refreshing to have to say the least. Only a few minutes to walk into the town/main streets."

"Room was comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and host even carried my heavy bag upstairs for me. There was nobody there when I arrived despite it being the check in hours. One thing I’ve realized after 2 weeks in Sicily is that the norm is for the hosts not to be present, so if you want more privacy and freedom that’s good. If you need lots of assistance might not be so good. But that’s been overall all over the islands. But when I arrived I had to call them and wait 5-10 minutes for them to arrive. In my experience also almost no English was spoken, but we managed to communicate and make things happen, and that was enough for me. I also enjoyed the privacy. There’s no breakfast included or available to purchase, you have to make your own arrangements. "
