"The cabin was the perfect size for my family of 6. We had an awesome time on the pontoon boat! If I had any questions or concerns Lucas was on it. The microwave went out on us and Lucas had us a new one in 30 minutes. The steps at the bottom of the deck are a bit iffy but we made due. The place needs some TLC but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The bridge was beautiful at night completely lit up! We did have a run in with the Mayflies but once it gets dark they're gone."

"Our family had a fun trip at this property. The lake was a great way to cool off during a VERY hot week. We had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. We didn't realize in advance that the dock is shared with a neighboring property. The neighbor is very nice though. Maybe it was due to the extreme heat the week we were there, but the house did have a moisture odor. We got used to it quickly but one of our family members has some lung issues so we were a little concerned about that. Overall though we had a nice family visit. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of space."

"We enjoyed a four night stay in July 2026. The house was right on the lake as advertised. We used the kayak and the paddle board, as well as the floats. It also had a very nice hot tub and fire pit. The property was very clean and spacious. The host is very generous when it comes to providing extras like coffee pods, coffee filters, trash bags, etc. There is a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of space to put your own groceries when you arrive. The beds are all very comfortable—which for me is very important! The host is very prompt to answer any questions that arise and solve an issues if needed. Overall, we will book this property again if we are in the area!"

"This is the coziest little cabin!! Chaz was great to work with, he took care of all our needs. We will be back, for sure. You do have close neighbors from the Big House, but that wasn't a problem. we may plan to rent out both properties for a big family trip to Lake Barkly, and this will be where we stay. The kitchen was stocked , for the most part. This was a very romantic place to go.... We will be back!! Thank You Chaz, Deb."
