Lakeview Getaway is across the street from Lake Barkley. You will have the house to yourself. 3 bedrooms, two queens, 1-full, 2-twins sleeps 8. Enjoy the comfortable décor with warm antique touches. Digital nomads will love the work space.The fenced back yard is perfect for furry family. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch with views of the lake.
Then set out and explore the antique shops in historic Cadiz with year-round events. Go to the Planetarium or Bison Prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen with double oven….and a grill in the fenced back yard.
Entertainment for your whole family year round! Ask about the Kayaks.

Nice stay

It's a very cozy little house nestled up on a quiet part of the lake. The house is clean, well kept, and the owners are very responsive and make sure that you have everything that you need for your stay. Location is great to explore LBL and had a small community lake access nearby that was perfect for getting a kayak in the water.

Family event

The property was very nice and clean with all accommodations in a quiet and cute neighborhood. It was close to the lake and 13 minutes to Cadiz. I would recommend this property. The property owners were very nice, helpful and hospitable.

Very nice! House is located in a beautiful area. Just watch out for the deer! Plenty of water access nearby. The hosts were very friendly! The nearby LBL NRA was wonderful to visit.

Loved our stay

We were in the area for 3 nights and this home was a great fit for our needs. The bedrooms were very roomy with darkening shades and the AC worked great. The living room and kitchen/dining were nice sized as well. The home was very clean, decor was beautiful, lots of amenities, and close to everything we wanted to visit. The host responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

The house was amazing. My dog loved the backyard. And was just all around peaceful and nice. The neighborhood was beautiful and a nice walk. The owners were responsive and helped me switch the dates that I had put in wrong initially and I am grateful. Ty again!

A fantastic experience

The house was quiet, clean and well stocked. The yard fantastic for our frisbee dogs to stretch their legs when not on the competition field. The host was wonderful. No complaints and a great experience.

Everything you need except groceries

This house was perfect for us. It was decorated nicely but plenty of room for our own items. Our pup loved the fenced backyard. We grilled steaks on the gas grill. The filtered water and ice from the fridge was refreshing. We enjoyed visiting the local attractions. It was an all around great vacation with plenty of r and r.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed to feel at home. We brought our dual sport bikes and were able to ride the many country roads LBL offers. One thing that we really appreciated was the air purifier in the hallway! The white noise is always something we miss when traveling. Thank you again for being such fantastic hosts. We hope to visit again in the future.

Perfect

The owners keep this home very comfortable for visitors. There were little extras that made us feel welcomed. For example, there was a bowl of fresh water 💦 for my dog when we arrived and also some sample size toiletries in case we had forgotten to bring something with us, as well as other conveniences. The owners responded quickly when I asked a question. I look forward to spending some of my vacation time in their rental next year.

Great Place to Get Away

We enjoyed our stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The grill was clean and easy to use. Great location with several hiking trails within driving range. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and walks around the quiet neighborhood. We'll definitely be back. Only thing I would change would be adding some blinds. There aren't any on any of the windows. No one is really around to see you, but it would be nice for the bedrooms so you don't have to wonder if anyone can see you changing.

In town for Family Graduation/Retirement Gathering

My husband and my parents were in town for a combined High School Graduation and Army retirement party. It was a cute home, easy to get to, and close to the lake. Hosts were great to work with. We had no issues. We would definitely stay there again.
