"My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. "We loved the cottage and the serene location, and we appreciated the kindness of our friendly hosts!"

"Very welcoming and well thought out accommodation. Would definitely stay again "

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Beacon Cottage. It is very spacious inside, well equipped and very comfortable. There is lots to see and do in the area."

"Really enjoyed the quiet location."

"Lovely quiet place for a short break. Local pub is very friendly and location is not too far from places to visit by car. Glamping Pods very clean as well as toilet block and also well equipped. No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was."

"I had a really amazing time when I stayed at this property and was pleasantly surprised with everything that it had to offer. Both my partner and I had a wonderful, cosy experience and believe it was an absolute bargain for everything that you get! 10/10 :)"

"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"Lovely cottage. Excellent location. Well equipped. Good facilities for the dog. We had a very enjoyable time and hope to return."

"The potting shed is definitely a hidden gem, its little but had everything we needed, it was spotless with a lovely garden for our dog to explore. The twin baths outside were a really nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing and there’s plenty of dog friendly restaurants locally. I would recommend the lazy fox for great service and lovely food."

"Thank you for the most wonderful 4 night stay. Such a beautifully presented cottage in a great location. We explored Lewes, Birling Gap and took a train to Brighton for the day. The cottage served as the perfect retreat at the end of a winter's day. We look forward to returning in the future."

"Lovely hosts, lovely and comfy home with country charm."

"Everything was really great. Comfortable, clean and tidy, everything we needed was there. Thank you very much for your hospitality!"

"Great place to stay. Very spacious"

"Enjoyed our stay but but with a dog we felt it lacked a safe garden area."
