"The cleaners - My gosh, were excellent I mean the ones that cleaned my room. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The reception was very helpful too, loved the complementary welcome drinks … it really helped. However the only thing that bothered me was the testing of the fire alarm without warning . This woke me up and had me running down the stairs just to realize it was just a test. I am not sure maybe it’s common knowledge for everyone from there but for me , there should have been a warning or a "this is just a test" announcement"

"Our king sized room was lovely all though it did lack some natural light as there was only one small window. Breakfast was okay."

"Well stocked bar. Have used the parking on previous stays and it is a great addition in Lincoln. Stayed in one of the cottages this time. Superbly equipped, clean, tidy and great facilities. All basics supplied… tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jug of water and milk in the fridge and complementary biscuits. Fully equipped kitchen if you don’t want to eat out. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of friends."

"Last time I checked in the room (RM 20) was smelling of smoke and the shower wasn’t running and was the most disappointing experience have ever had with any of the Simple Stay hotels "
