"The over-all stay was good. The process to get the home reserved and to get checked in was much to be desired. First, there should be an option to pay for the whole trip upfront. "The Units are old but clean. The bed was comfortable and the views are amazing 😍 Although we requested a bottom floor but was given a top floor the stairs are not that bad for us old folks. Was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub but it was closed as they are re- doing it. I would stay here again."

Hotel Ruidoso - Midtown

"The hotel has been going through a remodeling process. The 2nd floor was basically under construction. The fitness center, swimming pool and all other amenities on the first floor were being used to store construction materials. There was no patio area for lounging outside. There was no bench or any other seating area in front of the hotel so if a person was waiting for a ride there was no place to sit. As for the remodel process, we were on the 3rd floor which I guess had been completed. The bathroom vanity was nice with multiple electric outlets. The shower had what appeared to be newly install tiles. However, when they did the shower and tub area it was void of any shelving or locations to place personal shower accessories. The breakfast that was served was not too enticing. The eggs appeared to be powdered, the sausage patties were okay but the hash browns were not very good. Cereal selection was Cheerios, Fruit Loops or Graham Cracker cereal, basically Kids Stuff. I never checked out the oatmeal so ???? We probably will not stay at this hotel again. However, the staff was courteous and were very helpful when I needed special assistance."

"Crazy kids running everywhere including the golf course. The place could use facelift. The bbq area had used tongs and a wasp nest. The pictures were way better than what you get. The best part was the guy making omelette and the walk with the elk and the mattress. Someone stayed next to us with a child or dog that was running up the halls and in the room for hours. Also very angry dog in the stairwell. Not pleasant experience for the first time in the area."
