About this property

Eastfield Lodge - Perfect Group accommodation

  • Eastfield Lodge is a charming Victorian House with 8 beautiful bedrooms all ensuite. The communal dining room and lounge overlook Wensleydale and the hills beyond. This house is ideal for gatherings of all generations, walking and cycling groups, friends getting together for reunions, birthdays or anniversaries or Corporate Team Building.
    The Lodge can be booked for up to 16 people but additional guests can be added after booking. Charges apply. There are three apartments that can be booked.

    The space
    If you wish to book, the online booking system will automatically default to up to 16 people maximum. If you require further beds it is possible to sleep 20 using family rooms with extra divans or camp bed. The cost is an extra £30 per person per night. Please contact us after booking to add additional beds. We, or a member of our team, will generally be here to welcome you on arrival, or if you have had to self- check-in, a member of our team will pop in to see you after arrival, then let you settle yourselves in and relax. You have the local shops and restaurants in the town to help with your independent catering needs throughout your stay. We strongly encourage you to use the wealth of wonderful produce available from our local suppliers. You can then be left to your own devices but feel free to ask for advice on walks, places to visit or activities. We live next door but there is also a wealth of information in the Lodge.

    At Christmas the house can be booked for a minimum stay of 4 nights.

    Guest access
    Guests will be able to use the entire house including the kitchen. Guests will have up to 5 parking spaces in the car park. The garden and patio area is available to all guests including those in our apartments.

    Other things to note
    It is important to contact us if you wish to bring your dogs as there are certain rules you need to agree to. We have six dog friendly bedrooms in the house. Dogs are not allowed in the kitchen or Dining Room. We charge £15 per dog per day.

Bathrooms were lovely. The personal touches were good too, the cake and sweets they left for us. Also the bedding, duvets and pillows were top quality and so were the hand soap and shower gel left in each bathroom. It was a very eco friendly place too.The kitchen & toilet rolls and cleaning products were all eco friendly and also they had a company to pick up the rubbish and sort it for recycling. We just had to put it all in a dumpster outside. Would definitely go again

Luxury accommodation in beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

We really liked the care and attention to details - fresh flowers, cake to share and jars of sweets. The bedrooms are luxurious with tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in and the lounge areas are comfortable and stylish.

What a fabulous place to stay!

The house has the feeling of a hotel but with the communal spaces to make it perfect for a large group. There is a high quality finish throughout the rooms and the furnishings are stylish and beautiful. It really is perfect! The communication prior to the stay means everything is considered and organised prior to your arrival. Home baked cakes and jars of sweets are additional welcome touches.

Absolutely unbelievable! This house is just gorgeous, so well designed and styled and literally has everything you could need. There's 14 a dog in our family ranging from 70 to 5 months, so we need space and space is what we had in abundance. The bar was the cherry on top. Henry and Penny are very attentive hosts and we can't wait to come back.

A very wholesome experience with all of our loved ones in one place.

We had the most wonderful stay. The lodge was absolutely beautiful – so clean, spacious, and felt just like home. As a family, we made memories that we will treasure forever, from cooking meals together to putting the finishing touches on the wedding. Every moment felt so special. Thank you for being so kind and always happy to help with any little query that we had. We would love to come back one day and relive it all over again.
