It even smelled fresh, which is something I always notice right away. The entire home just felt comfortable and inviting.The lake view is what really sets this place apart — it’s stunning and so peaceful. Whether you’re sitting outside or just looking out the windows, it gives you that calm, quiet feeling you hope for when you book a getaway. The property itself is private enough that you’re not on top of anyone else, which made it even more relaxing.Inside, everything was exactly what we needed and then some. The kitchen was fully stocked, the towels were great quality, and the bathtub was perfect for unwinding. And I have to say — the bedding matters to me, and they nailed it. The sheets were clean, soft, and felt updated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, just the two of us, and it was perfect — peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we needed. That said, it’s also set up in a way that would be great for a family or even multiple families without feeling crowded.The host was wonderful — easy to reach, responsive, and made everything simple.We will absolutely be back. "It rained every day of our stay so the screened in porch really made our trip worth it. Very relaxing and quiet. Plenty of space in the main cabin and the detached suite for our party of 9. The kids loved the loft and all had their own bed. Host was very informative and responsive. Fun rustic spring break trip!"
