She never mentioned lift either! Good beds and room facilities. Nobody on desk in morning to check out. Was about to leave a note when the receptionist appeared. Hotel seemed to run on skeleton staff."

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."
