It was too cold in late October to use the pool but it looked very inviting and the gite was lovely and warm. Superbly located to be able to see all the amazing things there are to see in the area supported by the lovely family and owners of the property.The owners cared about our stay and were very keen to help us and support questions, but most of all were lovely and we even had the pleasure of meeting their grandchildren.Also, Carlux is a lovely spot and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the annual Crepes festival."

"The property is set in a lovely hillside location with easy access to Sarlat and Souillac. The property itself is better than we expected, and we had high hopes before arriving. The host Nicole has thought of everything you’ll need during your stay and the kitchen is so well equipped….the best we’ve ever experienced! The pool is a short walk down from the house through the lovely gardens, with a latched gate and fencing around the pool to keep little ones and dogs safe. Nicole was a brilliant host and available when needed and provided us with lots of useful information about the local area. We hope to be back soon!! "
