The building itself feels like something out of *The Grand Budapest Hotel*, and combined with the picturesque town and stunning alpine views from the window, it’s truly magical. The hotel is just a short and easy walk from the train station, which made arriving simple. We enjoyed both dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant—highly recommend the trout and roast beef—and breakfast was just as delicious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. To top it all off, after visiting the third-floor roof terrace (an absolute must), we went for a nighttime walk and a cat ended up following us back to the hotel—such a small but charming moment that made the whole experience feel even more like a movie.
