A lovely week away at acorn cottage, owner was really friendly and nothing was too much hassle.

A lovely week away at acorn cottage, owner was really friendly and nothing was too much hassle. Milk, bread, orange juice, biscuits, butter and fresh eggs on arrival with a roaring fire when we arrived was really nice. You are up in the common so a good walk or drive to any shops, but that’s what we wanted to get away from it all. We walked to the local shop run by volunteers with local produce was lovely. Everything was clean, tidy and we would return. The only thing I would say to improve would be the shower pressure is pretty low but that’s me being extremely picky. Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely love to return.

Quaint cottage

The road to the property is very 'off road' so be aware for your cars suspension! The cottage is lovely and quirky! Derek, the owner is a perfect gent! Thank you for our lovely stay. Bella 🐾 and I would recommend.
