"The houseboat was amazing! It was incredibly serene and quiet, making it a wonderful place to relax. We were not far from Aalsmeer, which is a lovely town to explore. We took taxis to Hoofddorp, where we could easily hop on the train to travel around the area.The houseboat itself was spacious and comfortable to move around in, and both the beds and couches were very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the houseboat to others.There were two concerns worth...

"Great location to use as home for the five nights we were in Amsterdam. Close to the tram line, restaurants and grocery stores. Room was four single beds which was just what we needed. Made for a great stay while we explored Amsterdam with my family."

"We stayed for 3 days prior to a cruise from Amsterdam. The balcony had a beautiful view. The hotel location was very convenient to the ship. Walkable with 1 bag or short drive. The concierge arranged transport for us. Also very convenient to Amsterdam Centraal as we took a train from the airport to the hotel - short walk from station. The night club staff was a little too judgey so we didn’t bother to stay for drinks; the staff earlier in the day were very nice and welcoming. It was really nice that the hotel allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after the cruise so that we didn’t need to be burden with them for a couple of early morning hours before our flight to leave Amsterdam. Hotel lobby (check in/out/random questions) and concierge staff were appreciated. Thank you !"

"the hotel is lovely. nicely redone and the restaurants and food is very good. the only issue and its important....the mattresses are incredibly hard. like sleeping on a table. if you like a hard mattress....this is a good thing....if you like something more comfortable....this is not the place."

"Breakfast was great, staff were lovely to stay with, the restaurant served peppermints (which we loved) , overall, it was pretty good. However, there are some downsides during our stay: Such as the fridge which was not cold at all so don’t buy milk or ham for next day supplies . There were no free bottles of water in room. As well as this, the water sold at the lobby/reception was a bit overpriced (the price being around 5 euros each) and the WiFi is a bit laggy when the three of us were using it . hotel is good and breakfast was delicious 😋 . Leonardo Hotel, thank you for having us and we will definitely come back.😄😄😄"
