"The apartment is very nice (if a little run-down and stained) and well-located for the university. There is a lot of space, and the beds are very comfortable, although it is quite hot and there was only one fan. However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. "Great little apartment, so nice to be in a room with high ceilings and panelling. Well fitted out kitchen, with proper knives for cooking, plenty of pans and a colander. A couple of minor notes, the most relevant has to be the carpet, which was rather filthy tbh. Not particulates, more the staining and general condition. As a retired owner of a deep cleaning business, I would recommend once annually in rooms where food is cooked. Normally every 2 years (with spotting) in std hotel rooms is ok....

"The host was very helpful sending a lot of information before the trip and greeting us with more information and history of the Priory. Well equipped apartment including a pint of milk. Lovely out of the city location but only a short journey to see the Clifton suspension bridge and also the convenient park and ride."

"Overall, we had a good stay at the Clifton Hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom had been cleaned, but there were still some stains on the toilet, so I think a little more attention to detail with the cleaning would be helpful. The room also didn’t have a fridge, which would have been useful. Unfortunately, the hotel car park was full when we arrived, so we had to park on the street nearby. Despite these small issues, we had a pleasant stay overall and the hotel was good for our trip."

"The hotel consists of two nice, old/character properties which are well-positioned for Clifton. They are well-maintained and clean. It's good that the property has it's own car park within the grounds for around a dozen cars, although I'm not sure why they would charge guests £9 per night to use it. The staff at breakfast were super and couldn't do enough, and the breakfast itself was good quality / choices. Our Check-in was a mixed experience, as they allocated us a room right at the top of the property (no lift!), which it turned out was an inferior room to the one we had booked. When we came back down to point this out, they did ultimately let us have the 'only room left', which was the Large Double Room we had reserved. Thought it a bit odd that they'd allocated the wrong room and then suddenly 'found' a room in an otherwise full hotel!"
