About this property
One and a half miles from the Frio River! The stars at night are big and bright!
Four Frio Sisters is a charming house nestled on a hillside in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. You can enjoy the fantastic views and million dollar sunsets from a swing on the back porch or enjoy a game of dominoes with friends on the covered front porch. Roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, relaxing around the outdoor fireplace, playing horseshoes, laying in the hammock, grilling steaks or sitting on a bench watching the wildlife and day dreaming are only a few of the outdoor activities available. For those youngsters and young at heart adults feel free to enjoy our teeter totter. At the end of the day you can shower under the stars in our private outdoor shower (don't worry, we have inside showers also!)
Once inside the house you can enjoy all the amenities of home with a Texas country charm. There is plenty of room to entertain around our wood burning fire place and large open loft. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dinnerware, and cookware. There are books to read and binoculars to use for viewing the wildlife and birds in the Frio Canyon. Open the windows at night to enjoy the cool fresh air and sounds of the surrounding countryside. We love disconnecting from the world when in the Texas hill country, but realize guests may need to have access, so we now have WIFI!!
Four Frio Sisters is only a few minutes drive to the Frio River, Garner State Park, and Leakey, TX. The Three Sisters Drive is also only minutes away with Lost Maples State Natural Area only 25 miles down the road.
There are year round activities in the Frio Canyon area ranging from tubing/kayaking the Frio in the summer, enjoying the fall foliage in autumn, hiking/hunting in the winter, and viewing wildflowers in the spring. The bird watching is fabulous year round. World Class Golf is available at Concan Country Club. Don't forget the summer time outdoor dances at Garner! Made in Texas!
Guests need to bring bed linens and towels. Comforters/quilts and pillows are provided.

Stayed with a friend for a quick motorcycle trip weekend. Comfortable bed and great location for the Twisted Sisters. Enjoyed the hammock and outdoor fire pit.
We enjoyed our stay, the space was roomy and private. Enjoyed the front and back porches. It was easy to get from the cabin to Garner State Park. We would go back.
Took my grandkids on a last minute trip before the new school year. They truly enjoyed themselves. The view was breathtaking and it was so comforting being out in the country. Definitely recommend
Our little family had such an AMAZING time at the Four Frio Sisters’ cabin! It was cozy and inviting, and the owners were available to answer any questions that we had right from the start. Our littlest loved the rope swing, and our older two made core memories roasting marshmallows for s’mores over the fire pit. We will definitely be back!
Had a great time in spite of the river fooding the house was very comfortable. We have been vacationing in the area for many years and found it a great location. Coffee on the porch was my favorite.
Our second stay at the Four Frio Sister’s Cabin and it was just as good as the first time! The hosts are great, communicative and thorough! We will be back!

Wonderful cabin in a beautiful area!
This was a perfect place to stay for our weekend touring the area. The cabin is homey and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great — just a few minutes away from Garner State Park and less than a hour away from Lost Maples. We had a wonderful weekend and would recommend this cabin to anyone!
Every summer we get together at this cabin for our mommy get away. Diane is so easy to work with a communicates very well. The cabin is perfect and love that its tucked away from other houses
This place would be good for a large family. I only had myself so it was a bit more space than needed.

AWESOME
We had a wonderful Easter weekend at your property we loved it all very much. The kids and grandkids loved it as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful property.
What a wonderful place this is, it’s very centrally located to the frio and town. Such a beautiful view in the evening. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while on vacation!
It was a very nice and cozy property with great amenities. It was fun from when we arrived until we left. I cannot wait to come back because of how beautiful the scenery is. Although it was hot when we were there, the shade the trees provide definitely kept us very cool and made hanging outside tolerable.

Perfect weekend getaway!
First time bringing our four children. They had a blast! Swam in the river then back to the house to swing, climb trees and run and play. BBQ & S'mores at night with star gazing. The house and property were perfect for our needs. Wonderful trip! Can't wait to come back again!
