Amazing getaway spot. Very spacious, very clean, very friendly. The cabin was very clean. They have lots of family games and activities to do. Quiet nights. I will definitely come back again.

Private and convenient

Peaceful and private location. Conveniently located between both state parks. House was super cute and clean, which is rare when staying with pets. Great for families or groups.

Great family getaway cabin

We really enjoyed this cabin. My kids loved how it looked and it was very comfortable. Beds were great, kitchen was clean, and it had the basic things needed to cook with.

All things were easy and made simple during our stay. The hose went out of their way to make sure everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The Fire pit was a nice place to relax.

Nice and Quite

The place is nicely tucked away. Great communication made it very easy to find. Loved the rustic feel, enjoyed seeing the deer and we even got to see turkeys. Overall a great place!

Anniversary Trip

Great home in a private area, great location close to Garner State Park and frio river. Owner provided chopped firewood before we arrived. Highly recommend and definitely would go back.

Great stay

Wonderful property, Great house and location. The house was neat, beds were comfy, a/c cold, and water was hot. Would definitely go back. Bring paper towels for the kitchen and camp chairs if you want to use the fire pit. The kids and I loved it!

A Heavenly Retreat in the Hill Country!

I had the pleasure of escaping city life with a weekend getaway to an A-frame cabin nestled in the hill country. Great A Frame !

Beautiful, spacious A frame in close proximity to Garner and Los Maples state parks. Amazing place to unwind after a day hiking. Everything was wonderful about this property. Off the beaten path, private, quiet, nature all around. WiFi still strong. Although 2 pins were provided, neither got us all the way to the property. Need more specific directions to the actual house. Also a little odd that no towels or linens (linens were provided once we ask during off season only) were provided - although that may be standard for the area. Overall very happy with our stay. Host was very communicative. Provided us with River and trail recommendations as well as restaurant recommendations. Thank you tot he hostess

Fall Break

We rented the A Frame for a getaway from Dallas and a chance to visit Garner and Lost Maples and the hill country west of San Antonio. The cabin was much larger than we thought it would be and we had a great time in the evenings outside and inside. Fall is a great time to visit the area and we highly recommend Leakey. Communication with the owner was very helpful.

Riding the Twisted sisters

After riding the Twisted sisters all day and enjoying some local restaurants the best part of the trip was coming back to the secluded cabin and making a fire in the fire pit and having a few drinks and talking about our day and planning our next day and next trip back to Leaky. The Cabin was very clean and it had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The Host are amazing and we will definitely be coming back. This will definitely be our go to place if it is available.

More than we could have imagined

It was so much more than I could have imagined. The location is ideal for either GSP or LM and the amenities were excellent. We spent most of the day time at the parks, but our evenings consisted of relaxing at the getaway. Dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill was amazing and the fire pit was a perfect ambiance for the nighttime hill country. I should also mention breakfast on the stove with a light fire going outside was mint. Would definitely recommend for a secluded getaway.

Garner Park Spring Break

The house was as pictured, clean, perfect for our stay. Great location with lots of privacy and close to park. Our time was spent more outdoors and at park but came back to comfortable beds and warm showers. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve food and drinks. Fire pit was nice at night and played horseshoe and other fun outdoor games.Only suggestion: Would suggest bringing fold out chairs if want to watch TV with all guests with your party. Limited to futon and wood chairs from kitchen table. Would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

Great Experience! Would come back.

The A-frame cabin was immaculate and peaceful. The property was beautiful. The home was well furnished and had everything you needed for a weekend getaway. We really appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans you would every need. There were even fun games to keep us busy when we weren't just enjoying the peace and calmness of the quiet outdoors. The host was always available to answer any questions and was very prompt with his responses. I will definitely be back!

Amazing! Beautiful!

The beauty of this cabin took my breath away. Impeccable taste. Very private, Very clean and has everything you need to cook and eat. Loved the Campfire at night with no one around. Peaceful and quiet. Location is close to both Garner State Park and Lost Maples Nature Area. I will be back. They also have another location they built that holds more people. I am going to try that one too. A wonderful host.

Get away on the Frio

This spot is great if you are visiting the Hill Country for a float on the Frio or a hike in Garner State park. You bring your own linens and towels but everything else we needed was there. The hosts are super helpful and communicative. Would stay at one of their properties again in a heartbeat!
