Wonderful place to stay close to downtown Leadville. Very spacious and terrific amenities like a hot tub that was fantastic after long days hiking 14ers. Definitely a great property for larger groups.
Great location and close to town. The house was very clean and well stocked especially in the kitchen. Decorated nicely with comfortable beds, and very nice furniture. Loved the fireplace!
The property was perfect for our stay with family in Leadville. Great location and view! We loved the sunsets on the front porch with our view of Turquoise Lake! And the hot tub was a hit for everyone after hiking and fishing all day! Thank you for sharing this great vacation rental with us!
Great new home not on Google Maps yet but the pictures are accurate. We visited Leadville for a wedding with a large family group. This house was wonderful. Very close to the Safeway grocery store and the Hot Tub was awesome.
I stayed here with my wife, 21-month-old daughter, and another couple with their 18-month-old daughter. We had a blast and found the accommodations most excellent! The property manager gave top-notch service when we had a question about the hot tub and the location is hard to beat. One caveat is that this property is not well insulated from sound so if you have a group who wants audio separation from one another this may not be your spot.
House was well appointed and fabulously new. Easy to navigate and everyone in our family of 7 was able to stay comfortably. The view out the front door is spectacular. Only suggestion would be to put black out shades in all the bedrooms and be aware the home faces the main road to Leadville so can be noisy at night. Loved how easy the kitchen was to cook in and the fun game room downstairs that kept the kids occupied with foosball and ping pong. If you are heading to the Leadville area, this is a great spot!
We came in to Leadville for a week to ski at Cooper. The house was perfect. It was super clean, very well kept, and had everything we needed. Plenty of cookware and storage, tons of flatware, cups, plates, bowls, everything. The downstairs was great for our 16 year old, a little bit of privacy for when he needed to get away from the adults. The foosball table was a ton of fun, and the hot tub was a great way to relax after spending the day on the mountain. We had one question about the trash can, and it was promptly answered by Andrew. We will definitely be booking again.
This property is new, which means it has several bathrooms, ample hot water, streets that are well plowed, and sufficient on street parking. It is missing some little touches such as a rubber tray to store boots inside (we had to bag our boots to bring them inside to stay warm). However, I am sure these little touches will come with time as it is easy to tell the owner and/or property manager have already tried to think of everything you might want- crockpot, hot tub towels, shampoo, soap, detergents, paper towels, etc. Moreover, the location is convenient to downtown Leadville, has a Safeway across the street, and is close to skiing, hiking, etc.
Beautiful! But not the best for our adventuring families
Pros:
House was new and clean.
Rooms were a good size.
Beds were comfortable.
Plenty of dishes.
Walking distance to the shops & restaurants in Leadville.
Host responded same day when we had problems.
View was beautiful out front window.
Cons:
No A/C (which is stated in the description) and no fans except one in the master bedroom (host did bring 2 box fans over at our request.)
The upstairs bedrooms were very warm, and the basement bedroom was cold.
There were 2 unfinished closets in the basement bedroom area. There was a corner closet in the bathroom that had no shelves or anything. The giant room-length closet in the bed room did not have a rod/hangers for us to be able to hang anything up; additionally, the closet had a giant desk-thing that was filled/covered in random stuff and dust.
Shower pressure for the downstairs (basement) bathroom was a dribble.
The garage was not accessible, and there was no convenient place for our adventure gear.
Not in a quiet neighborhood--lots of road traffic from Route 24
Perfect spot for our group of 8 for a fathers and sons ski trip. The place was as advertised, great communication leading up to and during our stay. easy 30 min drive to Copper each day.
