The room was quite basic - large enough for the 5 of us, with x2 double beds and a single bed comfortably fitting in the room. However it was lacking features that you may expect in hotels and especially for longer stays - eg) TV. They really do care about their guests and are incredibly kind and super responsive to guests. The nicest staff I've met in all my travels. This is a unique place to stay and I recommend without hesitation."

"The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "

"Warm welcome by Victor the owner's son. Comfortable bedroom with private balcony. The private grounds and hotel facilities are beautifully maintained. Lovely swimming pool. On our last evening we enjoyed an excellent and memorable dinner prepared by Nancy. The hotel is a short walk away from the lively town square of Maussane with some welcoming restaurants and open-air dining. On Sunday May 19th we watched a delightful display of local horse-riding skills in the town centre."
