"The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "

Fransico was also pleasant, went around his duties quietly but always with a smile. This couple has created an oasis out of a horse ranch. Some rooms, the pony stalls, therefore are small. "We weren’t aware of the elevator tube when we first arrived. The front desk is not staffed and you get in by receiving a key code to your phone. Once we got that organized, it was fine. We were on the third floor and my travelling companion was wonderful about lugging stuff up three long curvy flights of stairs. Once she reached the top, she realized there was an elevator tube that we could use. It was for one person only and it was a tight squeeze with luggage. It felt like you were in a vacuum canister. But it did the trick and certainly helped from having to lug suitcases up all those flights. It would’ve been helpful to know that that was available ahead of time. The staff who were there for breakfast were terrific and the breakfast was delicious. They were able to provide us with some useful information for our stay in this pretty little town."
