"The location was interesting and I enjoyed the night walks at the canal. It is admittedly a bit far, hard to walk especially in the snow, but just take note of the bus timings!"

"It's a lovely small property that can hold a surprising amount of people very easily. It's slightly on the older side, however the owner is very attentive and will fix issues on the spot if notified. The area also has some of the best views surrounding the town, and has a very active downtown full of places to visit!"

"Ms. Yu was super nice — friendly, helpful, and very enthusiastic. She even introduced us to the nearby area and shops. This hotel is really great value for money, and we’d definitely love to come back again!"
"Staff were so helpful from the minute we checked in. We were early but they had the room ready for us and it was a huge wonderful room with spacious bathrooms and a quiet place. The decor and interior are rather dated and unremarkable, but it is kept very clean and neat. It's as if you've stepped into a time machine back to the 60's. But, that's not necessarily the worst thing. Everything seems to slow down and people take time to do their jobs with care and oride. We loved it!! The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and amazing variety of japanese and western breakfast items. Everything was so fresh and so well prepared with plenty of Hokkaido specialty items. Just skip the oddly dry roast pumpkin and overcooked sticky corn (fresh corn only needs 3 mins in boiling water). The location is excellent and it's a small town so easy to walk to see sights. This place is well worth going to! Everyone had a positive and caring manner to them. It was truly a refreshing experience!!"
"Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping team, and the Global Breakfast Staff were excellent, went above and beyond, great to speak to and interact with. They were all very kind and accommodating. "
"It was a great experience for my first time at a ryokan/onsen. Staff and service was first class. In room onsen is such an awesome thing to have. I enjoyed having access to a mist and dry sauna. The open air onsen was awesome to experience. Full body oil massage was also great. This was a great relaxation getaway in a small town. If I get the opportunity, I would come here again. "
"Room is clean and brand-new. Staff are helpful but need more attention to the guests. There are shops nearby. Public bath and sauna are good but small. "
