"This hotel is for you if you want a rustic experience in the middle of the mountains on a very winding, steep and narrow road. I had a business meeting in the nearby town of Cours and thought that this little hotel would be a good place for the night before. It was fine for a one night stay but would be not so great for longer. "This place is beautiful, rooms are spacious and comfortable and in pristine condition. I slept perfectly. They also offer local wines, or beer and soft drinks, for easy purchase from the bar area. The owner is delightful and will handle any local activities including wine tasting, if of interest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."
