"Start off, room wasn’t ready at 3pm for check in, along with the £100 deposit they need ridiculous. The room I stayed in, bathroom had a strong stench of mould. Carpet had clearly not been hoovered."

"Our ‘Apartment’ room was very spacious with a nice brick wall feature. The room had a small kitchen area with a useful mini fridge and it also had a microwave and air fryer. However oddly there were no plates or cutlery so making those appliances somewhat redundant if you actually wanted to use them to cook something. If we’d wanted to sit at the small breakfast bar there were no seats/stools to use at the bar which would be useful. The room featured two large TVs and sofa seating. The bed was a standard size double (as advertised), but we felt there was a missed opportunity to fit a larger size bed which would better suite the ‘apartment’ offering as an enhancement adding extra value. Whilst there were plenty of plug sockets around the room, there were no sockets beside or near the bed, so when using your phone as an alarm it has to sit on the other side of the room which isn’t ideal. The room is highlighted as ‘soundproofed’ however we were kept awake through to 2am due to a lot of noise (banging, heavy footsteps) from the floor above and during the next day this noise even sounded like furniture was being dragged around so this unfortunately meant we didn’t have the best nights sleep. The bathroom featured a bath/shower and was nice and clean. Overall a reasonable stay, but we did feel let down somewhat where a little thought and attention to detail in what is provided would go a long way to enhance the facilities."
