"this was a quick overnight stay to rally before starting our travel. All rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. food in the restaurant was very good and service was fast and staff very friendly and helpful. overall a great place to start our vacation. "

"Once again booked at Crowne Plaza and their is renovation works underway. No advance warning again. On this occasion the lifts were under service/renovation. 20 minutes waiting on lifts that were full from the floors above. I dont know what has happened to the restaurant but the meals are getting worse and this one was the worst ever experienced. The steak meal was cold, undercooked and had a skin on it from the hot plate, the other was a burger, totally inedible and certainly not worth £19. The options for eating around the Hydro is limited and this was a better appeal for the Plaza, but will certainly think twice about booking for future visits. Cannot fault the reception or service staff."
