"Knowing it was a historic hotel we didn't expect perfection on appearance. We also knew the room would be small-neither of those were an issue.Staff was friendly and helpful. But a lumpy mattress, HVAC immediately outside our window running all night, no washclothes in bathroom, no answer at front desk, out of conditioner in the shower.. all things that should be available 24/7 made our 20th anniversary miserable"

"This place was the pits. You walked in and the smell of marijuana was so strong, You could barely breathe. When we got into the room, there was a great big cockroach in the bathroom, and the toilet seat had to be bolted back on because it was very very loose. The towels in the bathroom were so thin that you could see through them. The carpet in the hallway were so dirty and greasy kinda look like they were used for oil changes. Again, walking through the hallways the smell of marijuana was so bad. It was almost sickening. We were locked out of our room six times because the key cards would not work properly. I would not recommend this property for my dog to stay in. I will never stay in a La Quinta Inn no matter what part of the country it’s in. The only reason we stayed as long as we did as we went through a booking service and could not get out of that without having to pay for all three days of the room. As far as your property, there was no redeemable redeemable characteristics about it"

"This place is great for the money. While the parking lot is sizable, it’s in need of a little repair. Bad areas are clearly marked, however. The outside grounds could use a little attention, IMHO, but this would not prevent us from staying again. This was our second stay at this location. The staff is courteous and got us checked in quickly. The room had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. We were traveling from Pittsburgh to visit family and will stay again soon. "

"I was disappointed by the property and how unclean it was. It was nice that we were able to check in early as we had drove a far distance, however as soon as we arrived we noticed parking was very limited. We then were shown where the elevator was which wasa very small run down elevator. Liquid on the floor and one of the ceiling tiles missing with stuff hanging down from it. When we entered the room it did smell a little smoke with stained carpets and furniture. We ended up leaving as soon as we could with the kids not staying the night ."
