Welcome to The Retreat at Harble Ridge – your new favorite getaway in The Hocking Hills! The retreat is a cozy studio cabin located on 40 privately owned wooded acres with trails, a pond and just minutes from some of the most popular hiking locations, grocery and local attractions.

As you enter The Retreat you will be surrounded by everything you need for a cozy weekend in the woods. The studio cabin has a king size bed, featuring a memory foam mattress and luxurious hotel quality linens.

You can continue to the living room that includes a comfortable leather couch that can also pull out to a queen bed. There is a 50" television with DirecTV that can easily be viewed from the couch but is mounted on a rotating arm so you can cuddle in bed with a perfect view as well. There is a small gas stove that gives off the perfect amount of warmth on any chilly evening.

As you continue through the cabin you will be welcomed into the fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and dine together. The Retreat includes a dining table for 4, a full size oven and stove, crock pot, microwave, full cookware set, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, a full set of spices and much more.

You can step out the back door where you will find your private, covered deck with a 4 person hot tub. As you continue off the porch you have a fire pit with seating for four and the perfect spot for smores or a relaxing evening of stories and laughter. Just steps past the firepit is a beautiful pond, and miles of private trails that can provide hours of quiet, peaceful hiking and beautiful views in every season.

The Retreat has everything you need for your next escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Please note - The Retreat at Harble Ridge shares our 40 acre property with 3 other cabins so we do ask that all guests observe quiet hours from 11:00pm to 8:00am to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of all guests at Harble Ridge. The minimum age to rent The Retreat at Harble Ridge is 25 years old. We do have one camera on the property driveway for security purposes. A rental agreement and age verification are required before arrival.

Ohio Graduation celebration weekend

The property we stayed at was next door within the same Harble group. Not only was the property beautiful, it was well maintained, laid out and perfect for our gathering. We had an excellent experience from before we arrived until the day we left. Mallory was superb at customer service and answering any questions we may have had come up.

The cabin was amazing, close to the pond to fish. The trails were clean and easily marked. The cabin was clean and stocked very well. The hot tub was amazing with the perfect weather cooler nights. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

This was a nice clean cabin, private with nice trials you can walk to right from the property. The only downside I would mention is that the yard needs mowed, but outside if we really enjoyed the place.

Home Away From Home.

If you want a nice getaway with your little family, this is the place to be. Not far away from Hocking Hill Trails and so much more. Everything in the cabin was so clean. Our dog, Cooper, even enjoyed it and being able to be part of our little getaway. Thank you Mallory for everything. Can’t wait to come back again.

A great place to stay

Our stay at The Retreat was great, and everything that was promised on-line. The cabin was very clean, cozy, and pretty; with beautiful lighting, natural wood, and a very comfortable king size bed. The hot tub was ready to use, and really appreciated after our long but great hike through Hocking Hills. And Hocking hills was only a 15 minute drive away. Also, the pond and trails surrounding our cabin were a great start to our hiking adventure.

Cozy weekend get away

Garble retreat was just a perfect cozy stay! The cabin is absolutely beautiful! We were mesmerized with wood work and the lamps made out of wood! We enjoyed everything about it! The hot tub and fire pit was so relaxing, we had so much fun catching fish in the pond and the swings down at the pond was really enjoyable to relax in and the trails by the pond were fun to explore! Everything was just perfect! We will be back!!!

Very nice, quiet, CLEAN, secluded cabin. Only suggestion: provide dish soap to do dishes that are provided and use weed eater in back property. Otherwise,wonderful stay and would return in future!!

Much Needed Get-A-Way

We loved our cozy cabin. It met all of our expectations and we could not have been happier. The woods around the property were perfect for walks with our puppy, and the quiet was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the swings by the pond and just had some time to reconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The cabin had just what we needed, was clean and peaceful. Our dog loved it too!

Great place!

Nice place to stay. Had the amenities of home. Clean and organized. Christmas decorations were a nice touch and much appreciated. We had to contact our host once because the interactive display wasn’t displaying the check-in process. Mallory responded quickly over a holiday weekend, and answered our question. We’re very happy with our stay. Our dogs loved it too!

Loved the porch, hot tub and location. Shower was so so with 1/2 of the water coming out of spout. Limited places for putting clothes…suggest some hooks on main structural beam. Access to TV was NOT intuitive…needs better and step by step instruction for ROKU connection. Overall …a nice stay.

A Wonderful Getaway

The cabin was wonderful! The location was great for everything we wanted to do and was central to major hiking locations. The hot tub was well maintained and the trails and park on-site were a fun surprise. As others have mentioned there is issues with the shower plumbing and it drained very slowly while showering. The floors felt a little dirty walking barefoot but everything else was clean. The check in and out process was very easy.

Cute cabin, clean, quite and privacy

Very cute, clean, well equipped, loved the bed and pillows. They seem to really anticipate your needs while staying there. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. My only suggestion is maybe a dehumidifier and air purifier cause it was very musty smelling for the first two days. Than I guess the AC filtered it. Overall we where very pleased with our choice.

Our family of four had a great time at the retreat. The girls loved walking to the pond and sitting on the swing. They also loved the natural playground with a little zip line that was a lot of fun. The cabin was perfect size for us and all the activities that I planned were within a 30min drive. If you have kids I highly suggest “Muddy boots” animal farm open fri,sat, and Sunday. Lots of different animals and huge koi pond! The state park was beautiful! The mill BBQ was the best food that we had the entire trip. I definitely suggest staying up late and heading to the astronomy park! We saw so many stars that we never see from our house near the city we even got to see the international space station fly over! This was a very relaxing trip and I cannot wait to go back! I definitely want to do a winter vacation in this cozy cabin!
