"My friends and family found this to be perfect lodging for our gathering. There are 3 common areas inside the house to gather. 3 bedrooms (one with full/twin bunkbeds) and 2 bathrooms. "Used this location as a base for the family during daughter’s graduation. It was great to be a bit outside of Champaign during all the chaos. It was also far more reasonable than what others paid for lodging closer to the university. The only drawback was the limited places to eat nearby. "This is a second floor apartment that has a lot of lovely features. The host clearly has put time into making it comfortable and pretty. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen works well. The bathroom is old but works fine. The challenges were that the listing showed bunk beds and a king bed, but it was two king beds, which made it hard to find sleeping for two teenagers who don't sleep well together. To be fair, the host apologized and brought over extra blankets so we could use the futon....

"This was a truly good hotel at a very reasonable price. The rooms were large and clean and quiet and well appointed. It was the only place on my five day trip that provided a laundry bag and bathrobes. It had decent towels and good pillows. The front desk staff was smart and funny and kind. The lobby was comfortable and large, the grounds were pretty, the restaurant had real food, not deep fried junk with a side of freezer fries. We sat out on the shady patio and listened to the live music while eating things like salmon brown rice bowl and homemade potato soup with a salad. The other patrons of the restaurant were relaxed and lingering. It felt homey and welcoming, not like some hellish corporate chain. I really liked it and would go back in a minute. The only slightly bad point was that they had a 100 dollar pet deposit (we were traveling with an elderly chihuahua) but my guess is that they used that money to deep clean the room after we left, which is fine with me. Oh and the breakfast bar was only so so. No croissants! Quelle horreur! The coffee bar was set up backwards, they should fix that, the milk and sugar should be at the end as you leave. Stay here if you are in Champaign. "
