"This cabin was the perfect basecamp for a couple of days of skiing at Purgatory. Completely private and just minutes from the resort, it’s ideally located between Durango and Silverton.The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wood-burning fireplace was a wonderful bonus and made evenings especially cozy after a day on the mountain.We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved exploring the surrounding woods and we enjoyed taking in the beautiful mountain views.We’ve already recommended this place to friends who plan to visit the area next summer. "We couldn't have asked for a better experience at this property. We were there during ski season and it was incredible. I can only imagine how beautiful it is there in the summer time. The back deck has ridiculous mountain views with a lake down below. We were a 3 minute drive from the driveway to the chair lift. The house just feels great while you're there. The furniture is nice. Everything is clean and recently updated. The process for checking and checking out was seamless. I'll definitely be looking to go back in the summer. Thank you for a great experience! "
